Almost all of the 911 maniacs were in the US illegally. One would've thought the logical consequence would've been to get those in the US illegally out of the country, and keep them out. Would we be safer today if that had been the direction taken? I suspect so.

Instead, GWB gave us a "war on terror" that never ends.

And instead of cracking down on illegal immigration, he pushed amnesty down out throats.

A waste of a presidency.

President Bush didn’t give us the war on terror; they came to us.

Put your head in the sand if it makes you feel better, but it only facing the facts will truly help. React with your emotions and hothead if you feel like it, but cool and clear thinking is all that’s going to help.

On 9/12/2001 GWB was in possession of a huge political mandate. He could have used that mandate to build a southern wall, lock down the visa system and institute some new tough enforcement on illegals esp those from muzzie lands (while still going into Afghanistan).

Instead, he spent all his 9/11 political capital re-fighting his daddy’s war, and in the process massively destabilizing the ME and massively strengthening Iran.

It was a multi-level blunder of astronomical proportions.

stupid statement

the fallacy of your lack of logic is that the enemy would by some miracle cease attacking

the stupidity is that it is plain that the enemy has no such intent. the terrorists had no desire to end the attacks

being on the anti Bush band wagon in drunken stupor is taking a bad ride to ignominy

In my view this was a crazy diversion of focus and resources based on bizarre assumptions (I remember Bush firing a budget type over his public assertion that Iraq would cost us $ 100 billion - it turns out it cost trillions; bin Laden needed to be nailed to the wall as soon as possible.

And don't forget Dubya's Big Government reaction to a non-existent problem:

The Sexual Assaulters...

TSA was unnecessary after Flight 93. Bush merely continued the Big Government approach of treating airline passengers as sheep, which approach was the proximate cause of 9/11 in the first place (it's a FEDERAL CRIME for mere airline passenger peasants to interfere with hijackers!!!, until 9/12/2001).
