Donald Trump on Colbert [Live Thread?]
September 23, 2015 | Self

Posted on 09/22/2015 7:02:05 PM PDT by re_nortex

In about 90 minutes, Donald Trump will be devastating SeeBS idiot Stephen Colbert. Normally the little weasel's "Late Show" is must-not-watch-teevee but tonight's offering ought to be great as Mr. Trump plays 3-dimensional chess against a leftist peanut brain.

Colbert is still mewing and puking from Ted Cruz's jujitsu moves on him last night. Senator Cruz brought a gun to a knife fight but all Colbert had was a spork.

This thread ought to be as good of a place as any for FReepers to comment on the unraveling of an unfunny, unintelligent, unhinged leftist by a true zen master, Donald Trump.

OKay. I will force myself to watch Colbert’s sorry show 2 night’s in a row.

I truly despise Colbert and his Commie audience.

I truly despise Colbert and his Commie audience.

Last night the theater was packed (pun intended) with communist sodomites. Those disgusting deviants were booing Senator Cruz's principled stand against the homosexual agenda and the limp-wristed host was clearly on their side. Colbert is very effeminate and has a high-pitched, squeaky voice like that of a female. He's probably the voice dubbed in on the Payton Manning Direct TV commercials.

I will not watch Colbert. I heard clips of him interviewing Biden and Cruz.

He was on his knees to Biden (not praying), but he hardballed Cruz. Of course, the NYC audience cheered Colbert.

Colbert is creepy and I hope he gets his walking papers from CBS soon.

Cruz got punked by Colbert. He should have responded to the Reagan amnesty by saying it was a total mistake. It was supposed to be a one-time amnesty never to happen again by its supporters. The USG estimated 1 million would apply, but the true number turned out to be 2.7 million. We now have 12 to 30 million illegal aliens, yet the left wants another amnesty. When you reward something, you get more of it.

Either Mark Levin or Governor Sarah Palin would be far better as hosts of a late night program on that network. Both have sharp wits, a great sense of humor of the wholesome sort and have the brains for intelligent conversation. It would capture a tremendous audience and advertisers would flock to such a program that attracts pro-American Patriots with high disposal income.

The Colbert ship is sinking fast with the ratings propped up only by must-see appearances by Senator Ted Cruz and Mr. Donald Trump.

By the way, the house band is terrible. The "leader" seems light in the loafers. Mr. Levin or Governor Palin would do well to dispose of him and concentrate on substance should either become hosts of the program.

Cruz got punked by Colbert.

I saw it totally differently. The hateful hostility of lil' Steffy just bounced off SuperCruz. At the conclusion of the second segment, Colbert was on the mat, gasping and seemed awed that he had been incapacitated by a true Texas Conservative.

I didn’t watch his show with Biden, but I saw clips of it, because it was played on Fox.

I hated the lousy treatment of Cruz.

I will watch to see what Mr. Trump says and does.

I slept all day today, and likely because I stayed up to watch Colbert’s horrid show and it left me upset.

:)

Did you watch the TV or the videos? I thought Cruz was great and did not get punked by that silly ass Colbert at all unless you read the stories on Yahoo and other liberal sites.

Cruz let him finish his nasty little rant about how bad Reagan was and then came on with facts explaining how Reagan turned the economy and the employment situation totally around.

Cruz got in some excellent points about not letting 5 unelected lawyers make the law for all America and I think he actually got some applause from the audience for that.

His stance is not homophobic but logical a point lost on a lot of libs. I was proud of his performance.

Trump will probably do better because he won’t bother to be polite.

Reagan himself said amnesty was a mistake.

The democrats promised to secure the border in return, but of course they never did. They lied.

Last night Colbert asked Cruz if he was a Christian then Colbert said he "dabbles". Looked at his bio on Wikpedia and found this bit of info - During his adolescence, he also developed an intense interest in fantasy role-playing games, especially Dungeons & Dragons, a pastime which he later characterized as an early experience in acting and improvisation.

The little weasel will try to make Trump look bad.

He'll fail tonight just as he did with Senator Cruz last night. Our son of the South Senator Cruz hit a grand slam, knocked in a 3-pointer from downtown and scored a 100-yard touchdown as he annihilated the sniveling leftist punk. In short, Ted Cruz softened him up for tonight's appearance by Donald Trump.

The facts are self evident: Colbert has a third-rate brain and he's not even the Southerner he claims to be -- lil' Steffy is actually from DC.

I hope so, but any idiot or his writers can come up with those: Who’s the Foreign Minister of Sri Lanka? type questions. I expect Colbert will pull something like that, but it’ll probably just make Colbert like petty and contrived.
