German Chancellor Angela Merkel has authorized over fifty thousand refugees from war torn Syria to settle into Germany. It is assumed that she will further authorize even more for the next few years. Many speculate the main reason she's doing this is somewhat related to altruism, but mostly related to Germany's shrinking workforce.
Germany, just like Japan, has an aging population, one that is not being equally replaced by children born. Japan has been aware of this inequity of replacement population where births do not come anywhere near equaling the number of those who die. This has prompted Japan to focus on the building of a robotic workforce. Japan, like China, remains a country populated by asians, and they are not eager to drastically change or racially diversify their society.
The question remains, how did these two productive powerhouses arrive at this point, with so few children being born to citizens? One factor in Germany could be the diminishing influence of the Christian faith. Many Europeans consider it a mark of an advanced culture, that they no longer ascribe to the constraints and duties of any church. Not all, but many Japanese have become workaholics and derive most of their satisfaction from achieving social status.
Both countries have learned to live with a conflict of emotions about what their country has done in the past. There is reason for both pride and shame. Both countries have shown themselves to be immensely capable and industrious when focused on large collective projects. Both countries have been forced to deny their full glory, to subordinate themselves on the world stage after being fully at war with these same marketing partners.
Angela is taking a huge gamble, that enough of these Syrian Muslims will assimilate to become financial assets to Germany vs a source of endless expense.
Honestly, I never thought I’d see the day when the Italians weren’t having liters of kids.

There is something strange in both Japan and Germany. It is an intensity or personality, uncompromising Self-righteousness, an odd cultural isolation, and fear of other cultures.
I’m not sure if it was because of their losing WWII or what may have lead them into to war.
There is also an outter disconnect from the war. It is as if they outwardly make excuses for the war, but on the inside feel a cultural guilt.

When both halves of a couple are forced to work to sustain an increasingly unsustainable life, who can afford children? Not to mention, both are too exhausted to go about making them. Unless, of course, they’re not working, living off welfare and other government largesse while others pay for, raise, educate, and ultimately, incarcerate their reproductive products.
The children will come, along with Sharia.

With Germany it’s an easy answer. Decades of being subjected to round-the-clock WORLD media hammering on about “World War II, Hitler, Himmler, Nazi’s” have made a generation of Germans HATE themselves, heck half of German’s can’t even say they’re proud to be German, in case the word “Nationalism” is uttered somewhere in the WORLD media.
When Helmut Kohl was Chancellor there began the thinking in Germany it was “time to move on”, but the WORLD media WON’T let them move on.
So now the WORLD media can be happy, they succeeded in making a generation of German’s self-loathing and this is the result, Germany is dying, 1 child per family isn’t enough, in 80 years they’ll be NO German’s, an ENTIRE country and all it’s rich history, culture, inventions that it GAVE to the WORLD for Centuries will have been flushed down the toilet.
It’s criminal that they weren’t allowed to move on, if they had of we wouldn’t be in this situation with them.
It’s nothing to do with lack of Christianity, 71% of Germans identify as Christian.
They’ve tried everything to get them to have more children, free-childcare, flexible working hours, cheap kindergarten rates, everything but NOTHING can erase the WORLD media’s hit-job on that nations people, forcing them to hate themselves at all time....”oh heck we better not have another child, could grow up to be the new Hitler or the new Himmler!”
This is why they’ve opening the doors to the whole of the Middle East also, yeah some to be given jobs, but most to claim welfare, because if Germany doesn’t take everyone they might get called Nazi’s all over again.
Hence Merkel’s comment “it’s our moral obligation to take in people, especially in light of our history”

With Japan I have no idea, but with Germany it’s totally easy to answer.
The Far Left in Germany, Communists have been rubbing their hands recently saying “the Nazi’s aren’t good at having children, German’s are dying and there’s not enough young German’s to replace them, which is good.”
So the Far Left label ALL German’s who aren’t Far Left as Nazi’s and they rejoice that Germany will be dead in 80 years....only the Far Left will make up the 5% the other 95% will be Islamic.
It’s called Genocide btw, the purposeful killing off of an entire race or COMMUNITY of people. Genocide can be done quickly or it can be gradually done by purposefully putting into place a situation where that community of people stop having children or have less than 3 children per family, either way it achieves the same objective, death of that community.
Many German girls are very beautiful and intelligent.
But it doesn’t give the numbers. A little more and a little less is meaningless.
And you look at "whites" (I mean pale Euromix native-born Americans), the fertility rate is something like 1.6 and the median age is 42. The median white woman in America has less than 2 children and is perimenopausal.
I think you hit on one of the biggest factors, if not the absolute most significant. Tragic. There is such a thing as healthy pride and self esteem. Once you scrub away all aspects and benefits from having an ego, the person’s spirit begins to deflate from within.
And the world will greatly miss the German’s when they are no more.
Of course the whole planet will probably have been mostly destroyed by the Radical Muslims arguing with themselves by then.
Beyond tragic, it actually makes me want to cry :(
It’s too late now, even if German’s started having 6 children per family, they cannot close the gap, they would in 80 years make up 30% of their OWN country and the Muslim hordes with their already breed like rabbit mentality will be 70% of what ISN’T their country.
Because people don’t want to raise children to have to pay for the increasing number of freeloaders. I love my sons but am terrified of the world they are growing up in. Almost to point of wishing we hadn’t had them.
