A few years ago, perhaps three, my wife asked me if it was true that homosexuality was common in the Roman empire. I said I believed it was accepted but that it wasn't considered particularly manly. Sort of like a man who wears dresses might be today. You won't go to jail but it's weird and people won't want to vote for you or anything. She said "eww, I get it".

Three years later, just three years, and here we are discussing how much makeup men should wear. shaking my head...

I noticed that nearly all had very small shoulders, and that many had faces that weren’t even closely matched side to side. Odd looking people with or without makeup.
