Carefully stage-managed photographs by Isil show the moment the terrorist group destroyed one of the best known temples at Syrias ancient city of Palmyra. The images, released by Isils media wing in the central province of Homs, revealed the Temple of Baalshamin was littered with explosives before it exploded into a mushroom cloud on Sunday.

There are people in the U.S. who are following ISIS’ example by embarking on a quest to eradicate all traces of the Confederacy in this country.
I am a history buff and it saddens me to see those relics destroyed, but when I see MSM crying and wailing over archaeology and totally ignoring the real fact that thousands of babies are being murdered by Planned Parenthood Nazis monthly, it sickens me.
Why is it that we only see these things in UK newspapers? Where are these stories in in the NYT? LA Times? Anybody? Oh, it may be because the stories put ISIS in an unfavorable light among the remaining American Christians on the planet.
You can be upset about both things. Do you really want to live in a world without the pyramids, Roman and Greek temples and churches?
No - it needs cold, dispassionate men who seek justice and are willing to do whatever is necessary to achieve it.
But their battlefields will not be the remote deserts of Syria and Iraq. Attacking symptoms is 20th century thinking.
Yep. I hope we don’t rally around feigned patriotism after the next huge terrorist attack. I hope we blame the people whose only job is our security.
