Rosetta's Comet Lets Out An Epic Fart [Toot, toot]

Popular Science (8/11, Fecht) reports that on July 29, the Rosetta spacecraft was able to capture what the ESA called a “dramatic outburst” from Comet 67P, which was strong enough to affect the solar wind. The article notes that the ESA said that “unpredictable outbursts” like this one are occurring more frequently as the comet reaches perihelion, or its closest point to the sun in its orbit, on August 13.

"...strong enough to affect the solar wind." Wow, my eyes are stinging already. Perhaps as the earth approaches perihelion it will outgas some of that evil CO2 and AGW will be a thing of the pass. [Yes I intended it that way.]

Where's the WATER? Where's the ICE? Where's the dirty SNOW BALL?

H₂O is the LEAST of the out-gasing components found in the coma of 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko as measured by the ROSINA spectrograph. . . yet the gravity driven cosmologists still cling to the dirty snowball model of comets claiming they are primarily composed of water ice. Yet in every single comet encounter we've had, they've found minimal water and what has been found has been made by outgassing of the OH radical encountering the solar wind composed of Hydrogen ions. . . and being created on the spot, as the director of the Deep Impact comet encounter stated it appeared to be happening when the 680 pound copper impacter hit Comet Tempel 1.

This article is on unexpected (there's that word again) outbursts jetting from 67P releasing large amounts of gas which happen quickly from the interior of the comet as it gets closer to the sun. ELECTRIC UNIVERSE PING!

• H₂O: Water
• HH₂: Acetylene
• HCN: Hydrogen Cyanide
• CO: Carbon Monoxide
• C₂H₆: Ethane
• CH₃OH: Methanol
• H₂S: Hydrogen Sulfide
• CO₂: Carbon Dioxide
• OCS: Carbonyl Sulfide
• SO₂: Sulfur Dioxide
• CS₂: Carbon Disulfide

All of which is quite a stew only about 3.3% is water. I repeat, where's the dirty snowball?

I think that what is occurring is what little H₂O they are encountering in the coma/atmosphere of 67P//Churyumov-Gerasimenko is entirely created by the negatively charged Hydroxyl radical OH being ejected along with all those other gases and then encountering the positively charged ionized free Hydrogen radical H+. "This wind consists primarily of protons, the positively charged nuclei of hydrogen atoms"—space.com.

They want to be balanced with a negatively charged something or other. . . and the most active in the area is the negatively charged Hydroxyl radical OH!

These will attract each other and naturally collide and combine, emitting energy in the form of light photons creating a glow discharge in the process!

H+ —> OH- = charge balanced HOH or H₂O —> e (photon).
