If your approach us effective in deprogramming liberals, then I applaud those you've converted. My only cautionary note is that leftists -- though they lack wisdom and discernment -- are very cunning. In the spirit of nothing but FRiendship, my advice as a old man in his 70s, is to beware of their tactics. Remember that they're working just as hard to transform you to their evil philosophy. I've seen a lot through through the decades and have learned to exercise extreme caution around liberals.

They have no tactics and are no match for me politically. I learn from Mark Levin - and am very well versed in the conservative principles. No, my friends aren’t as evil as you think. It’s fine to be cautious, but you seem to be paranoid and labeling of others - which is unfortunate. Maybe it’s where we live - I live in a Republican stronghold, so that might make a difference.

It's a matter of "lead me not into temptation" in such matters.
It may be an age thing with me as I approach the twilight of my life (at least per the actuarial tables) and so I am very cautious and fearful of being ensnared by the deviousness of liberals. I'm not as sharp mentally (or physically) as I used to be. Even when armed, I avoid the inner city where feral thugs are in abundance. In my younger days, that wasn't a worry because my reflexes were quick and my aim precise. Likewise, I shun any form of liberal contact nowadays.
You guys are evidently younger than I am and still have the wherewithal to defeat liberals. In that effort, you have my best wishes.
Calling Captain Obvious
That was over ten years ago. Maybe Sean has ‘evolved’, as President O. likes to call it.
Two years ago, I was excited to hear about a new News Organization called One America News. Now, I hear nothing about them at all. Same story with Sarah’s network or link. Most news orgs. know the advantage of creating controversy once in a while. It gets you noticed and talked about.
As FReeper Democrat_media pointed out, it looks like One America News Network is poised to break out bigtime! Sarah Palin was there just a few days ago per this thread. That could portend something very monumental in the media landscape. Governor Palin's track record of success is unquestionable and she could single-handedly transform the sleeping giant that is OANN.
My two cents, I’ve never had any luck converting hard leftists politically, they tend to be zealots who don’t care about people, just ideology. Thing about that is, they have that in common with the GOPe heads exploding all over who are also atheists. See that’s the clue, atheism I mean, because with both groups it’s about idolatry, Christianity cures it. Otherwise they are beyond reason because their ideology becomes their god, and not to be questioned.

Meant to include you too, hard core leftists tend to be atheists in my experience, so the main problem is that their ideology is their god. Therefore they do not care about people (or anything they have to say), they only care about gaining converts. Only God seems to fix that, get them to church.

These days I don't tolerate any lefty media, and since GOPe is just another word for liberal, I won't watch Fox News.

To elaborate on the guy across the street I mentioned...he moved here from Nashua, NH about 16-17 years ago and constantly complained about Texas (in spite of the tremendous job opportunity it afforded him in IT) and our Conservative and Christian values. He was a dyed-in-the-wool liberal.
To fast forward the lengthy story, his conversation came via his daughter who was born here in Texas and became a cheerleader and started adopting "our" ways, including picking up a bit of a Texas twang. A group of us invited her to a youth prayer meeting at our congregation. A number of her high school friends were there and she started coming on a regular basis. I could go on in much further detail but it really boils down to Isaiah 11:6. Although we were indirectly involved, it was the (not so) little child leading her father to Conservatism, first evidenced by him voting for Ted Cruz in 2012 for Senator. Now he's full-on Tea Party and has recently started coming to our church.
Oh sure, he still complains about the hot Texas weather and waxes nostalgic about the cool summers of New England. But that minor character flaw aside, there you have the Reader's Digest story of a liberal turned Conservative.
