No good deed goes unpunished.
The truth of that adage was confirmed in spades last week when a Montana couple, Jason and Tara Shane, described as Good Samaritans for helping a stranded young, Mexican motorist were shot and killed for their effort. Their daughter, Jorah Shane, 26, was wounded.
Jesus Deniz Mendoza, 18, a Mexican national who entered the United States legally two years ago, shot the Shanes when they stopped to assist with a broken-down car.
Shortly after the shooting, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement indicated that Mendoza had legally entered the country from Mexico through the San Ysidro Port of Entry May 31, 2013, when he was 16
...
Earlier this year, Mendoza was arrested on a burglary charge but ICE claimed he couldnt be deported because by then hed been granted legal status.
...
Democrats claim the U.S. immigration policy needs overhauling because its too restrictive.
If this horrific incident proves anything, its that the immigration policy is too lenient. No matter what reason the Obama administration had or pretended to have to have granted legal status to Mendoza, he should have forfeited the privilege the moment he decided to become a burglar.
Now, two good people are dead because he was free in the United States.

Now we find out what Jesus would do with Good Samaritans.
‘illegals’ come up here and do stuff like this ?
Take them out and publicly hang them .
Quick trial , no appeal , immediate implementation of sentence, no incarceration .
THAT is the message that should be sent .
Hmmm perhaps a Dreamer who only produce nothing but Nightmares to an American Family.
He started out by breaking the law, entering a country with no legal papers. That is a criminal activity to start with... or...is it only a crime after they kill.
More mischief from Barry Soetoro’s “unaccompanied minors”. Come To America! Kill Americans! Good job Barry!
He was just doing the ruthless crimes that Americans refuse to do.
9/11 wasn’t enough of a wake-up call. So the open-borders enablers threw open the gates even more.
How about an illegal alien jail that is made to match one in Mexico. No rights, same conditions as a Mexican Jail if a crime is committed.
nope , no incarceration for these killers . Hang them . Publicly
Like a tool designed to do many things, the federal government doesn’t do any one thing very well. And it wasn’t intended to do any of those things, for example, to warn us not to pick up a lawnmower and use it to trim hedges.
But the reason it was made by the states: to coordinate efforts to protect the states from invasion ... it not only doesn’t attempt that function in a serious way at all, it assists the invaders.
Time to start over, time to hit the re-set button.
Go Trump! Say it out loud.
He was not convicted of the crime of burglary, but arrested for it. In order to deport someone who is here legally for criminal activity, they must be convicted of the crime, not just have charges levied.
That being said. Trial, conviction, and hanging is what this p.o.s. needs.
Enforcement indicated that Mendoza had legally entered the country from Mexico through the San Ysidro Port of Entry May 31, 2013, when he was 16
Then after that this happened so they say..
Earlier this year, Mendoza was arrested on a burglary charge but ICE claimed he couldnt be deported because by then hed been granted legal status.

However that's putting the cart before the horse..so until they come up with some legal visa type documentation that the US government gave him BEFORE he ever left Mexico the first time, this guy is an illegal alien..is, was, and still is..
he entered illegally. Obama made him legal after the fact. In other words, just like the the killing in S.F. was partly to blame on the people of that city for ignoring our laws so to is this laid at the feet of Obama. Same as if he pulled the trigger himself.
Legal status is extended to individuals who continue to comply with the laws of our nation. If they step out of line, that status can be revoked.
I believe this is misleading.
Which is the only reason we may not still have 30 million illegals in country.
Twenty million plus may have already been granted legal status or more.
The 2020 census is going to be an incredible eye opener.
My prediction is that the Hispanic segment of our populace will have more than doubled.
It was pegged at about 13% in 2010. It will be at least between 20 and 25% now, and I think it’s likely it will exceed 26%.
