Dog shows off table tennis skills in viral video

WASHINGTON, - A multi-talented black collie with a knack for sports showed off his skills at table tennis for a video going viral online.
The video, shared on YouTube by America's Funniest Home Videos, features the collie, named Auggie, holding a table tennis paddle in his mouth and using it to return his owner's serves.
Auggie shows he can keep the game going by repeatedly returning the ball, occasionally needing to jump up onto the table to get a better reach toward the ball.
"This dog would definitely beat you at a game of ping pong," AFV said in the video's description.
Table tennis is not Auggie's only forte -- further videos posted to his owner's YouTube account show the canine trying his paw at soccer.

That’s pretty cool, but that gorgeous dog is going to have joint trouble when it gets old. Just ask my Zippydog. 15 yrs 8 months now, and mornings aren’t as much fun as they once were. He even needs a bit of help getting up on the bed at night. I’m building him a stair this weekend.
It sucks getting old. It’s worse watching your best buddy age.
