Imagine that.
Hey, padre, YOU FIRST!
World attacks live.
Can Popes be impeached?
Pope Che is a Marxist, through and through. There can be no denying this. He is at least as far to the Left as Barry Soetoro, if not further, which is probably the case.
The only comfort I find is in the fact that ultimately, God will judge this false prophet - and his followers - harshly.
Maybe the Pope Supreme should extend his remarks about “goods of the Earth” to “goods of the Catholic church” to be ‘shared’.......he could give up a robe or two or a gold-encrusted mitre or something, couldn’t he? He certainly ain’t broke.
Ping.
No. They cannot be impeached. It is a lifetime appointment, and there is no procedure to impeach the pope.
We can, however, hope and pray he follows in his predecessor’s footsteps and retires early.
I imagine over the years, some of them that died in their sleep might have had a little help.
Exactly.
Let the pope start by sharing the art treasures of the Vatican and the money in the Vatican bank.
There have been a number of attempts to do so historically. Usually winds up with the election of an antipope and a schism, which sometimes lasts decades.
Usually more effective to just kill him.
But he is the Jesuit brainworks of the farm. It is for our benefit that he eats all the apples and drinks all the milk and whiskey.
I could go along with this to a certain extent.
The “goods of the earth” are the resources God provided, where they are.
However, extracting them and making them into something valuable requires effort on the part of someone,
and requiring that effort be “given” is condoning slavery or theft.
Please stand and turn your hymnals to our opening hymn, number 129, The Internationale. Number 129.
The art treasures of the Vatican aren’t shared? My understanding is they’re on display for the public to enjoy.
What would you consider “sharing” them to be?
IIRC, they can be forcibly abducted and locked up somewhere, and an anti-pope put on the throne.
I knew the Communist Pope couldn’t keep it in for very long.
I can sympathize... I never have cottoned much to appeals to the public at large by those individuals whose entire lives and existence is replete with extravagant opulence, especially at the expense of the religious masses.
Sell them and give the money to the unwashed. That is what he wants me to do with my money.
