The art treasures of the Vatican aren’t shared? My understanding is they’re on display for the public to enjoy.
What would you consider “sharing” them to be?
Sell them and give the money to the unwashed. That is what he wants me to do with my money.
Sell some of them off in London and New York, give the proceeds to the poor.
That seems to be in line with the pope’s philosophy.
Are all of those treasures on display for the public to enjoy? I’m not so sure, there are so many of them.
Somewhere, I forget exactly where, someone said that many of the great rarities in the Vatican Library are off limits to the general public. Again, this seems to be in conflict with the pope’s belief in equality for all.
