The whole Breast Cancer Awareness thing makes me shake my head. Who the hell is NOT aware of breast cancer.
The money donated doesn’t come close to the amount of funding needed to find a cure. I have often asked my friends who are walking, running, baking, and whatever “for the cure” how much of their money goes to research, and how. I’ve never gotten an answer.
On the flip side, the progress in cancer treatment is simply stunning. Most of that is University Research funded by Big Pharma.
