EVEN though their lawsuit against United Airlines has been dismissed, a gay couple from maintains that they were deliberately victimized by the airline.

Christopher Bridgeman and husband Martin Borger sued the airline for invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress following their trip to Costa Rica...

However, when they proceeded to the luggage carousel, the couple claim their bag had been rifled through and a previously packed sex toy was taped to the outside.

In testimony heard this week, Bridgeman said both he and his husband suffer from anxiety and other physiological issues as a result of the incident.

Lawyers for the airline argued that the couple’s bag was overstuffed and any correlation with their lifestyle was coincidental.

Other sites reporting this incident were a bit more graphic about the exact sex toy involved as well as, shall we say, the exact substance covering the “toy.”

laim their bag had been rifled through and a previously packed sex toy was taped to the outside.

If that was indeed the case then I support them in their lawsuit......

The airlines have no business in rifling thru checked baggage since that's how most of their thievery is conducted..........

Thievery is the TSA’s job.

-Did TSA rifle through the bag?
-Did the bag pop open, the contents spill out and then the toy was attached?

The question is, how did the airline know they were gay?

Sorry to burst their bubble, but lots of heterosexual married couples use sex toys.

Christopher Bridgeman and husband Martin Borger///

Either way, i’ll never get used to the absurdity of using the word “husband” to refer to a male in a two male relationship.

Only 20 years ago this would have been part of a comic bit

“The airlines have no business in rifling thru checked baggage since that’s how most of their thievery is conducted.......... “

The airlines probably wouldn’t have done this. They don’t go through bags. It would have been the TSA.

This has “TSA Jerks” written all over it. Any airline employee would expect to be fired over such an action.

As do some single folks, whom the TSA also apparently acts creepily towards:

The question is, how did the airline know they were gay?

There was no mention of them being gay,the lawsuit was about items in their checked baggage being removed and placed on the outside of the bag.........

You saying that you wouldn't have any problem if the baggage handlers went thru YOUR baggage and removed items such as your teddy bear illegally and taped it to the outside of your suitcase?
