LOS ANGELES Just five years from reaching the NFL pinnacle as an All-Pro and Super Bowl champion, Darren Sharper is now likely headed for a lengthy prison sentence after reaching plea agreements in charges involving the drugging and sexual assault of at least nine women in four states, his lawyer said Friday.
The alleged sexual assaults happened after Sharpers 2011 retirement and followed a similar pattern. In all of the cases, Sharper is accused of slipping drugs to women and sexually assaulting them when they were unconscious or otherwise unable to resist or consent.

I was watching him too. Pretty decent looking guy and he was a good safety. If he had to drug women for sex, me thinks he’s fourth and inches.
Why does it seem that men are drugging women to have sex with them?
It’s hard to believe that a prominent NFL star would have trouble finding a girl to go to bed. Just saying. Moral implications aside, it’s hard to believe that he couldn’t find a willing female, if that’s what he wanted.
He will have lots of time to think about things in prison.
And in the case of Polanski, he committed his crime against a 13 year old girl. Not even an adult woman, but someone who was still a child.
Don’t confuse alcohol, which is part of socializing and dating, and seduction, to having sex with a women who is passed out, and especially not to drugging a person, like you did.
How do you define having sex with a woman who is “Emotionally vulnerable” and why did you equate that with drugging a woman?
It’s harder than you think. A woman attracted to any star is going to hold out for the maximum she can get.
10 Rillington Place by any chance? Christie done it.
I’m not. I’m pointing out that the idea of chemically reducing a woman’s ability to say no (or anything really) goes way back. We know the concept of “get her drunk and take advantage of her”, and it’s really no different than the date rape drugs. Making it so she can’t say no is making it so she can’t say no, quibbling over the chemical compound used is missing the point.
It’s the target mentality. Some guys see a woman crying and think “ahh, she’s less likely to say no”. Which is why I equate it with any other kind of “taking advantage of her”, because that’s what it is. It’s all the quest to avoid “no” through finding/ making women incapable of it.
Well, looks like Bubba in Cell Block C will be able to let us know for sure.
There's just something about that address.
You are in the nutcase territory now, you seem to have taken to heart your feminist teachings from college.
This is approaching Andrea Dworkin/Catherine McKinnon, teachings.
What’s the difference between having your way with a girl who can’t say no because you’ve poured half a dozen daiquiri in her and one who can’t say no because you gave her a roofie? A
Burn him alive. Along with Cosby. Crank up the punishment to appropriate levels and the next crop of scum will be much more likely to curtail their appetites.
You are the one that needs to work on figuring out the difference between dating, and rape.
Just because you don’t drink and wouldn’t drink on a date, or at parties, or at nightclubs and bars, or at weddings and BBQs and on picnics and at Bar Mitzvahs, or when your navy ship sails into port, or on prom night, or when your fellow police men and women are celebrating a pay raise, or when when you graduate college, etc. doesn’t mean that other females don’t, girls drink because they want to, and when they want to.
You really don’t see the difference between girls drinking with their date, or their date slipping them a roofie on the sly?
In the first case, the woman knowingly and willingly agreed to go out with you, and knowingly and willingly drank the daiquiris, being aware that getting drunk would lower her judgement.
Some women like the idea of getting drunk, so they can rationalize away having slept with the guy as "I'm not really a slut, I was just drunk".
If people are held fully responsible for the consequences of their own drinking when they decide to get behind the wheel, then they should be held equally responsible for the consequences of their own drinking when they get between the sheets while drunk.
Notice how every single discussion with you turns into you accusing everybody else of all kinds of stuff?
Meanwhile out here in reality there is NO difference between getting a girl too drunk to say no and too drugged to say no.
I actually said there IS a difference between drinks with a girl and getting her too drunk/ drugged to say no. You clearly chose to ignore me saying that because that would inhibit your ability to attack me.
Nope. In both cases at some point the woman was voluntarily hanging out with you. Look at the Cosby accusations, they all start with her willingly being with him. Also remember part of “lowering judgement” when you’re drinking is lowering your ability to realize you’ve had too much to drink. There was an article a few months ago making the social media rounds about how it’s the 3rd drink that gets you in trouble, that once you get to the 3rd it’s now turned into a night of hard drinking. I don’t entirely agree with that article, largely my “normal” night out drinking is 3 and no more than 3, but I agree with the general idea that there is that 1 drink too many line that once you cross the night is going to go into many too many.
Some women like the idea of getting drunk. Some women don’t realize how drunk they’ve gotten themselves until they defog in a car with a guy and no idea how they got there. That’s how an old roommate of mine lost her virginity, she was at a party, then she was in a car.
Part of being responsible for drinking and driving is that you can kill others. It’s the difference between being the one person in the situation who definitely isn’t a victim, and the one that very well could be.
Well said!
No, since it isn’t true, are you saying that you do drink?
Do you drink when on a date, or even if a man buys it for you, or pretty much anytime and anywhere that you choose to bloody well drink?
You also keep comparing to two people on a date drinking, to the man using roofies or slipping a mickey to her without her knowing.
“Some guys dont want to take no for an answer but arent quite up to the whole full on forcible rape thing. So they get the girl, drunk or drugged or emotionally vulnerable.”
“We know the concept of get her drunk and take advantage of her, and its really no different than the date rape drugs. Making it so she cant say no is making it so she cant say no, quibbling over the chemical compound used is missing the point.”
“Whats the difference between having your way with a girl who cant say no because youve poured half a dozen daiquiri in her and one who cant say no because you gave her a roofie?”
Blah blah blah. The usual crap from you. Insults, lies, accusations. Sorry I’m not playing your stupid game. Go have your flame war with somebody else.
You are spewing out the exact feminist claptrap that they teach.
Women are equal or superior, until it involves having consensual sex with a man, then they are children, helpless, victims, even when they are paying for the drinks that they want, even when they are buying the drinks for the man.
