Lance Armstrong is facing criminal charges for his actions regarding a car accident that happened in Aspen, Colorado on December 28, 2014, where he hit two parked cars after a night of partying and tried to let his girlfriend, Anna Hansen, take the blame.
According to a report by ESPN, Armstrong and Hansen, who have been dating for years, were leaving a party at the Aspen Art Museum, with Armstrong behind the wheel of his GMC Yukon. The car slid on some ice and hit the parked cars. Armstrong and Hansen agreed to say that Hansen was driving.
After police questioned both of them, Hansen eventually admitted that she had agreed to take the blame for Armstrong and that he had actually been the one driving.
Aspen Police cited Armstrong for speeding and failing to report an accident. Hansen has not been charged.

If your boyfriend/girlfriend tries to get you to lie to the police and take the blame for something that your boyfriend/girlfriend did, you should probably rethink the relationship.

You would think so. Armstrong’s estimated net worth is $125 million. A lot of women will put up with all sorts of abuse to live the luxurious lifestyle.
In July 2008, Armstrong began dating Anna Hansen after meeting through Armstrong's charity work. In December 2008, Armstrong announced that Hansen was pregnant with the couple's first child. Although it was believed that Armstrong could no longer father children, due to having undergone chemotherapy for testicular cancer, this child was conceived naturally. Armstrong announced the birth of his fourth child via Twitter, just as he would do for his fifth child
Apparently this is fairly common. A similar thing happened to me years ago.
I was inching my way home on an icy country road when a car coming the opposite direction went off the road a bit going around a curve.
The driver overcorrected and went in to a skid completely blocking both lanes of the road.
With deep ditches on both sides of the road I had no choice but to hit them broadside.
Their car slid in to the right hand ditch with the driver’s side facing the road. The driver, male got out of the car and yelled at me to go up to one of the houses to get help because his wife was injured. This being pre cell days I complied.
I looked at one of the houses on the opposite side of the road and saw that someone had opened the door so I told them to call the sheriff and when I turned around I saw the man pulling his unconscious wife in to the driver’s seat.
When I gave my statement to the sheriff’s deputy I informed him of the ruse be perpetrated. I never heard any more about whether the other driver admitted his lie or not. I did hear that they were driving home from a tavern about a two miles up the road.
But I do know that they were uninsured and it took me more than three years to get my insurance deductible back from the low lifes.
She just might be a bitch herself.
I’m sure dimwit Sally Jenkins will somehow still defend him.
And Armstrong somehow thinks he's the father?

By this subterfuge, Armstrong avoided an on-the-scene sobriety test...

No matter how many plumbing fixes this clown has, he was borne a male and he will always be a male.
