December 17, 2014, 08:15 am Obamas say they're no strangers to racism
By Justin Sink
The president and the first lady chronicled a series experiences in People magazine that they say demonstrated some of the latent racism that blacks in America continue to face.
"There's no black male my age, who's a professional, who hasn't come out of a restaurant and is waiting for their car and somebody didn't hand them their car keys," the president said.
The first lady said someone had asked her husband to get them coffee because he was wearing a tuxedo at a black-tie dinner, and he had his share of troubles catching cabs when they lived in Chicago.
"I tell this story -- I mean, even as the first lady -- during that wonderfully publicized trip I took to Target, not highly disguised, the only person who came up to me in the store was a woman who asked me to help her take something off a shelf, she said.

Michelly,
That is because people can spot low life from a distance.
This is not an American problem. Get your community straightened out. We are here to help but you better be nice.
“Michelle is tall. Sometimes I ask tall people to help me take things off the upper shelves. It has nothing to do with race.”

I was never racist until the odumbo’s came along but today, not so much. I despise that SOB.
IMHO...It's just how "I hate whitey" people think.
1. I wouldn’t trust Barry to park my car.
2. If he were to get coffee for me he may pull a Jesse HighJackson and spit in it.
These affirmative-action grifters have had their racist a**es kissed for their whole lives. Maybe the only time they didn’t was when their law licenses had to be turned-in. Who knows what kind of BS they were playing for that to occur. LIARS lie...that is what they do. Both of these fools are chronic, unrepentant liars. Goes anyone not mentally impaired believe them about anything? I think not.
What are the chances the tuxedo/valet/restaurant story is true - and it happened at a Dem fundraiser? (maybe with some Sony execs in attendance)
That's the difference with the victim mentality of failed people and the opportunity class. When James Bond was thrown keys in Casino Royale he used it to his advantage and never complained. Obama is a victim and a complainer vs, an opportunist who takes advantage of every situation to better himself.
I’ve noticed at the closest Wal Mart to where I live that I never see any employees that aren’t black. Many don’t even wear the blue shirt I thought Wal Mart required but they are running a register.
My son and I each get asked for assistance at WalMart. I’ve been asked for assistance at many stores, and I, too, am white and short. And, when I see someone who might need assistance, I don’t wait for them to ask. But I wasn’t raised to take offense at serving others.
People at white tie events look for the standing non-mingler and assume they’re the help.
It’s racism yo do that to blacks but not whites apparently

Yep.

It never occurs to people like the Obamas that these are common experiences for everyone, and not particular to them.
I’ve often had people mistake me for an employee of a business I’m frequenting. I was never offended by it. Not once. Yet for the Obamas, it is a deep insult to them that the world doesn’t instantly recognize that they are “better than that”.
I doubt the Secret Service let anyone that close to her at Target.
No disrespect intended to hard-working valets...!
I’m a victim of discrimination: if I’m out shopping, and there is a height-challenged woman on the same aisle eyeballing something she needs on the top shelf, I can guarantee she’s going to look around, see me, and assume I’m a 6’1” employee of the establishment hired to walk the aisles and help height-challenged female patrons get stuff off the top shelf...
... except the Southern Ladies ...
... they will see me, give me a big, Southern-Lady smile (you’ll know it when you see it - resistance is futile), and start their request with “Honey,...” or “Sugar,...”. They normally don’t have to say anymore at that point, they’ve already hooked me and are reeling me in.
The same goes for the parking lot. Why do older, shorter women insist on buying 50-pound bags of dog food when they go out shopping alone?

LOL ...
Obamas say they are no strangers to racism.
True all they have to do is look in the mirror to find a racist.
