Joan Tarshis posted an essay on Hollywood Elsewhere, via the Hollywood Reporter, alleging that Cosby drugged and raped her on two separate occasions in 1969, when she was just 19-years-old.
Tarshis, a former actress, music industry publicist, and journalist, wrote that Cosby, whom she met through mutual friends, would routinely invite her to his room on the Universal lot where the taping of The Bill Cosby Show took place.
According to her, the comedian would offer her food and drinks, and although Cosby never drank alcohol in front of her, he would often pour her Bloody Marys.
In regards to the first instance of alleged sexual assault, Tarshis recounted an evening when Cosby invited her to his room to discuss material for his show. That is when he reportedly made her one of his Bloody Mary drinks.
She goes on to claim that she lost consciousness in the midst of discussing a scene with the comedian, and that she remembers coming to on his couch, unclothed.

I see two possibilities:
1. Cosby is guilty of sin of this accusation(s) and is finally goign to pay for his sins.
2. Cosby is being burned for not going 100% for the Dem agenda in denouncing the “thug Youth” culture and other things about cultural liberalism that he has opposed from time to time.
Right now I am not sure of either, but i won discount either possibilities....
This whole thing seems suspicious to me.

How many does that make, now? And not one ofthem reported it at the time or even close to the time of the purported crime.

The woman is now 64 years old. I doubt she can differentiate between reality and what she once dreamed.

If this is true, it proves in truth we have a lot of weak women, who are “too scared” to speak up. Apparently women’s lib did not actually help women?

on the otherhand he did not fall in line in lock step.. with the Bama-band..
He just failed to call it what it was, is and will continue to be..
He is educated knows what at stake BUT DIDNT call “them out”..
He also noticed how successful Bubba Cintoon is at “IT”..
Could be he is a democrat at his core..
Meaning “totally corrupt”..

I suppose #2 is possible, but I’m voting #1. From what I’ve read some of these women have been telling the same story since at least the 80’s. From time to time Cosby has said a few conservative-sounding things, but he’s mostly a liberal who supports progressive pols. I have a hard time imagining a coordinated campaign against him for a handful of common sense statements.
Why does this come up after thirty years? How could he have gotten away with this back then? And this woman says it happened more than once. Why would she have allowed that? It stinks to high heaven.

Maybe Cosby’s denunciation of youth culture is not a genuine moral stance. Rather it might serve as convenient cover for someone who is himself a thug.
And I believe at least one of these rape charges was settled out of court.
An associate of mine met him and said he was the rudest and most arrogant person she ever met.
Being a rapist didn’t seem to hurt the career of one Bill Clinton.

One rapist I know of was employed counseling rape and incest victims.
the girl who said she was raped and then was alone in a hotel room again is suspicious to me.
was she trying to get somewhere and was willing to do anything to get there..because if not..the story makes no sense.
If someone rapes me I am not going to go with him in a bedroom again.
