I don’t see that (i.e., a farewell tour) happening at all. If anything, he’s going to go full-on dictator, issue wide sweeping executive orders, and bypass the congress at every opportunity. We’re rapidly heading for a serious constitutional crisis IMO. This is going to get real ugly and fast.

For what it’s worth - and the track record isn’t good - Dick Morris says that the polls are always wrong by about 2% - and the only question really is, “Which way?” He suggests that this time it will favor the Republicans. He thinks Pat Roberts loses, and that the Republicans still end up net +7 senate seats.
Morris’ track record is what it is - but it’s fun to hear, anyway. It won’t change the final result, either way.
