Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee and a conservative kingmaker, is doubling her efforts in Louisiana to get retired Air Force Col. Rob Maness elected to the U.S. Senate over GOP Rep. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and incumbent Democrat Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA).

Good race. Bump.
I hope this does not lead to the Rat winning 50% +1 of
the vote in November and being re-elected.
There are nine candidates on the ballot for senator on Nov. 4; five democrats,
three republicans and one libertarian. I doubt that any candiate can get
the necessary 50% to avoid a Dec. 6 runoff. Look for Landrieu and
Cassidy to be the runoff contenders. JMO
I was thinking the same thing. Louisiana Republicans and Independents need to be very careful with this three way election.
I’m in NOLA now. The Landrieu ground game is amazing. I get phone calls....offers of yard signs...kids knocking on doors...I here it’s the smae in Slidell and Baton Rouge. If it wasn’t for TV commercials you’d never even know Maniss or Cassidy were even running. Can’t the Repubs hire a few field organisers and make a attempt to get out the vote?
“I hope this does not lead to the Rat winning 50% +1 of

This is exactly where this is leading — splitting the Republican vote will lead to the Dem win — and continued Dem control of the Senate. I am highly disappointed in Sarah.
“But Maness is polling at 18 percent according to a CC Advertising poll conducted Sept. 30a poll highlighted by Maness campaign in a polling memoto Cassidys 34 percent and Landrieus 40 percent. Another poll conducted the same day by Public Policy Polling, a Democratic firm, had Maness at 12 percent to Cassidys 34 percent and Landrieus 40 percent.”
The only thing Maness is going to achieve is to give Landrieu another few weeks to save herself during the run-off election. Without him, this race would be wrapped up in November.
I have heard that all the rats have this year is their ground game - they sure don’t have a record to run on.
Also saw an opinion this a.m. that Hillary might be waiting for the Senate results to decide if she is running or not. Maybe Her Brilliance doesn’t want to deal with a hostile congress.
We HAVE to take the Senate! Promoting an unlikely candidate, no matter how good he is on the issues, doesn’t help IMO.

I am with Sarah, enough of settling for someone who people think might win, by that same thinking I guess we better ask Romney to run, we dont want to offend the moderates
Polls don’t take into account that a runoff gives the opportunity for Dems from all over the country to descend on LA for Push-Pull-Drag operations. I think Miss Piggy would survive.
Guess which dem is coming to Baton Rouge on Monday to lend support to Mary?
Bill Clinton......
Landrieu’s campaign hopes Clinton’s visit to Baton Rouge on Monday will boost support
for the three-term Democratic incumbent heading into the start of early voting on
Tuesday. The election is Nov. 4.
Just imagine 2 more years of Reid blocking the House and Obama, who has nothing left to lose, doing everything he damn well pleases. Will we have a recognizable country anymore? I think we’re down to the nitty gritty of having to do what we have to do.
With rare exceptions that has been the problem for Republicans and conservatives-the ground game on and just before election day.
Who is “we”? Republicans? and as far as Hillary not wanting a hostile congress, you realize that Congress changes every two years. It can swing wildly in the opposite direction. She doesn’t care how this election turns out. She will run. Meanwhile “we” conservatives need to win some more seats to keep Republicans in check.
Hate to break it to you, but the country is already unrecognizable. We are in a liquidity trap and the police state is too well entrenched to dismantle via the rigged elections - outright voter fraud + Diebold machines based on MS Access.
The corruption is too deep and pervasive. Our nation turned its back to God. Now is the time to get right with Our Lord Jesus and prepare for what is coming.
It has been found that cassidy did give money to Landrieu.
Landrieu is the daughter of a former louisiana governor, so of course, she is going to get ‘help’, and with her brother as present mayor of New Orleans, what did you expect. Once again, a political dynasty attempting to remain in power.
No I didn’t realize that congress changes every 2 years. /s
We’ll see what happens with Hillary - and if the electorate is stupid enough to put her in the WH.
The only reason to keep Maness in the race is to keep landrieu from getting to 50% on Election Day and forcing a runoff. It is easier for dems to cheat on Election Day compared with a runoff. Plus, low Infos are less likely to vote in December when it is usually colder. Why keep the Maness voters home on Election Day when it is still a vote against Landrieu?
Louisiana is a republican state but the democrats are able to win there because of massive voter fraud.
