It looks to be an open-source browser. Does it have limitations? Will certain add-ons be deactivated? Anyone have a down&dirty review?

Started using it earlier this year as an alternative to Firefox. Seems like a perfectly good substitute to me.

I switched from Firefox and found it less buggy than Firefox.

Pick your Pop Culture Reference.
A: The Joker from Batman-1989 "You ever Dance with the Devil in the Pale Moonlight?"
Or B: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Episode 19 of season 6 (arguably the Best Trek Episode Ever) In the Pale Moonlight

I use it as an alternative to Firefox, it does crash more often than I like but otherwise it is acceptable and I like it better than Opera and some others I tried.

I switched. The main "Pro" is that by switching you hurt the market share of Firefox, that Gaystapo supporting organization.
In operation it appears to work just like FireFox. The only annoying difference is that when you open a new tab it appears at the end of all your open tabs instead of right next to where you opened it from.
Other than that, there is a migration tool that will let you copy all your settings from an existing FireFox browser.
That's all I can think of to tell you.

Pale Moon is a fork of Firefox. Someone took it and improved it, because open-source is cool like that. I like Pale Moon a lot. I don’t really miss Firefox, even though it has the same guts.
CON: I don’t think Ad Blocker Plus works with Pale Moon for some reason.
PRO: Stick it to Google and Mozilla. (Duck Duck Go is my default search engine)

Pale Moon worked great for me when I had Windows XP. Soon as I switched to Windows 8.1 I stopped using it because it was so buggy.

and download Chromium instead of Chrome too.

If you run the 32-bit version of Palemoon, it will accept most of the Firefox extensions/add-on, because FF is 32-bit. The 64-bit version of Palemoon has trouble with many of the FF add-ons.
I have been using Palemoon on my laptop. I actually prefer it. I am about ready to install it on my desktop computer, too.

I tried it.
It was not very stable for what I do but then my business depends on my browser running cleanly so I am perhaps a bit more demanding then most.
After I ran a disk clean up and CC cleaner it began to behave oddly.
I dumped it. IE actually ran better then it did but remember this was just for what I wanted it to do. Your results may vary.
