Most likely explanation is medical issue with pilot, IMO. It is a shame, because if I am right, the poor family will hear about it on the news.

I agree...brign it down and pray like hell that there’s no suitcase on board.

The second medical condition in a week. Another scramble in Va a few days ago.

Well, are they going to let it fly South until the fuel runs out, or what?

The Cubans would not be at fault if they shoot it down.

Concern for it going down in populated area, and what it may be carrying.
Issue is to shoot down, or else, due to risk.

Now approaching Cuba airspace, F-15’s pulling back. Pilot likely dead (heart attack/stroke ?) or unconscious (pressurization lost ?)

I wonder how far south it’ll get before it runs out of fuel. Sad story... probably only has a pilot on board... maybe a heart attack or something.
To: txhurl
Its over Cuba ....not the US decision any longer.

Still zipping along 267 kts @ 25,000 ft. Looks like something might have gone awry over North Carolina when it veered left..... looking at Flight Aware.

Cuba must be deciding that very question.
Nonresponsive due to heart attack and auto pilot, must be a question, as well as nefarious possibilities & dangerous load.
