The double ring, though incomplete, makes it far more likely that it was caused by a toy, costume, or similar source, that the kid laid on or came in contact with.
Assuming it has some supernatural origin, it’s far more likely to be the very common “Celtic Cross”, rather than the extremely obscure “symbol of Mammon”.

Bizarre. Especially considering that mammon is not actually a devil or descended from a devil, or even, The Devil. And also bizarre considering that the mammon mentioned is ‘the mammon of unrighteousness’, which points to there being another kind of mammon. I don’t know what made the Celtic cross mark on her little boy, but I’m willing to hazard that the explanation is more mundane than the internet is helping her with.

Bone disorder? Then maybe it has something to do with an x-ray. My wife had a strange pattern on her back not long after an x-ray. It faded away over a span of 2 or 3 months.

I feel sorry for the little boy. What kind of mother puts a child through that. The look on the little boy’s face just tugs at my heart.
I think is does look like a burn from a hair dryer, and it would fade later.
