THE parents of a boy aged four were horrified when a mark of the Devil appeared on his chest.
Sharon Lewis and Robby Jones spotted the cross-hair imprint as they got son Samuel ready for bed.
The sinister sign is proving a devil to explain. The imprint has baffled his parents, teachers and even the family's GP.
Shocked Sharon, 37, of Market Drayton, Shrops, said yesterday: Its a nightmare. Some people have said its the Symbol of Mammon the sign of the Devils first born which has been very upsetting.

He got better.
I thought it looked like his symbol of membership in The X-Men.
toy gun crosshairs?..held a toy gun to his chest, while he slept.
FFS
The double ring, though incomplete, makes it far more likely that it was caused by a toy, costume, or similar source, that the kid laid on or came in contact with.
Assuming it has some supernatural origin, it’s far more likely to be the very common “Celtic Cross”, rather than the extremely obscure “symbol of Mammon”.
Last I checked, it’s not the 11th century.
I am not finding prophecy about “mark of Celtic Cross”.
‘Shocked Sharon ... it’s a nightmare ... very upset.’
It really stuned her Berber. This makes her Mammon’s Momma.
Looks like an x-ray target to me.
I don’t find any prophect that talks about a “mark of mammon” either. In any case, the “mark of mammon” they show in the article has only one circle, so whatever that mark on the kid is, it has nothing to do with the symbol they’re showing.
does mommy have a hair (blow) dryer?
Personally, I find it interesting that "the Symbol of Mammon the sign of the Devils first born" appears on a child in Britain at a time when the... Church of England will consider getting rid of mention of the devil in its baptismal ritual.
But I am not here to convince you about that either - which at least is making sense "...Assuming it has some supernatural origin..." than your non supported Celtic Cross idea.
The mother in this article said people are telling her... “its the Symbol of Mammon the sign of the Devils first born”.
She didn’t say people are telling her... “its the Symbol of the Celtic Cross”.
But you are free to keep running interference for Satan... you might want to consider if that is going to work out well for you...
In any case, the mark of mammon they show in the article has only one circle, so whatever that mark on the kid is, it has nothing to do with the symbol theyre showing.Maybe Satan should put a watermark or hologram tamper proof label on it?
“Some people”
And some people believe crop circles are made by extraterrestrials.
There’s no historical basis for associating that particular symbol with “Mammon”, so whoever is telling them that is merely ignorant. From what I can tell, that particular symbol was made up for the movie “Constantine”. Furhter, any “personification” of Mammon as an actual being is an artifact of later non-religious works such as “The Faerie Queene” by Spenser, or various later occultists. The Bible uses the word exclusively as a metaphor for worldly wealth and money, not for an actual demon.
But hey, you keep adding things to the Bible that aren’t there. I’m sure you know more than its author did.
Some people of the limited people she has spoken to, as opposed to the zero people who impressed on her that is quite obviously a Celtic Cross.
I am not adding anything, I said the symbol of Mammon at least makes sense from a religious point of view.
Unless you think God owes you the answer to every mystery... tell the next lotto numbers while you are here.
Bizarre. Especially considering that mammon is not actually a devil or descended from a devil, or even, The Devil. And also bizarre considering that the mammon mentioned is ‘the mammon of unrighteousness’, which points to there being another kind of mammon. I don’t know what made the Celtic cross mark on her little boy, but I’m willing to hazard that the explanation is more mundane than the internet is helping her with.
I at least hope you realize that you utterly failed at telling us why the symbol could be a Celtic Cross while desperately clinging to every angle as to why it can’t possibly be the symbol of Mammon (which people are telling her it was).
Have a nice day Little Pig.
Do keep in mind that the article outright says that the symbol has two concentric circles, not the one shown in the image, so it’s not the same.
Also, I just noticed that the article, in the Malaysia Chronicle, is actually a reprint of an article from the UK tabloid “The Sun”, which has only slightly more credibility than the now-defunct Weekly World News. That puts this story in the same general category as Bat Boy and Space Aliens, IOW total sensationalist crap.
