To avoid dangerous climate change and limit global warming to below 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit above the level of preindustrial times

Lets Move! (tm) our butts down to the burger joint.
An 0bama advisor advocated this exact thing early on. 2008-9
The burger joint Hubby and I frequent has a burger called The Pigpen. 3/4 lb. of burger, house-smoked bacon (they do their own), grilled black forest ham, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, swiss cheese, and the house special sauce. It’s SO good. They have another one that has all that and 28 oz. of ground chuck. It’s a foot tall. I’ve never tried that one.
I love it when we get the correct answer in the first response post.
I'd probably second that. Think of how the world's "carbon footprint" would go down. But as far as the meat and cheese thing, just no.
LoLoL! I always got the zzzzot on that game. (Maybe that’s where the *original* zot came from :)
Let’s see tomorrow night I’ll take the Mrs. out for supper and I’ll be sure I have a double order of beef tips and a milk shake. She’ll have some type of beef. We’ll top it off with an ice cream sundae. We’ll come home to a well lit house {Par 38 Halogen floods on outside} driving our nice big high top conversion van.
Noop. Not in this house- neither the pups, nor us (probably not the fish-to-come, either).
I’m surprised nobody’s posted this yet (via Drudge)
Vegetarians are less healthy than meat eaters, have a 50% higher risk of heart disease & cancer, more chronic conditions, & mental health problems.
From the article:
“Chronic problems associated with vegetarians and people eating carnivorous diets rich in fruits and vegetables were linked to more frequent visits to doctors, which the study authors suggest requires public health programs to reduce the health risk due to their nutritional factors.”
Plus: Vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, brussel sprouts, & legumes, especially) are notorious for causing gas.
And here comes the next “nudge” from big brother. Wonder what all the anti smokers are saying now that they will use the tax and punish “Tobacco model” on meat and cheese eaters. lol
Ohh man your killing me, BACON !!! CHEESE !!! BEEF !!!
Are those spears ( Balls ) from Hillary’s lock box ?
EAT more veggies!!!!!!!!!!!
GOP seeks to tie Keystone, gas exports to jobless benefits bill
Global Warming on Free Republic
That's a great first step before we stop eating meat and cheese. Let's stop burning any hydrocarbon fuel. And we're not allowed to make hydrogen from hydrocarbon fuel, either, for those who are big on hydrogen as a fuel, because the manufacture of hydrogen from hydrocarbons also releases CO2. So, it's solar and wind.
But why stop with meat and cheese? Think how much reduction in CO2 emissions we could have if we stopped eating altogether.
It’s......beautiful.
Stop telling me what, or what not, to eat.
