David Egan, a 16 year-old from Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia was beaten so badly in the locker room that his nose was dangling from his face. The Blaze reported:
It was all over a pair of missing tennis shoes.
David Egan, 16, was confronted by another 16-year-old male student in their high school locker room apparently over the missing shoes — and then Egan was beaten so severely by the unnamed student that he needed reconstructive surgery to reattach his nose to his skull.
The brutal assault was captured by other students and posted on the internet.

The boy’s father said his son would not be returning to the school. The school never called 911 after the attack.

Charges have been filed after a student was punched in the face at school, and it was all caught on video.
Wednesday afternoon, a Gwinnett County father reached out to 11Alive News to show us a video of his son being punched in the face at his Gwinnett County high school.
David Egan is a sophomore at Parkview High School. His father, Daniel, says the student was leaving weight lifting class Tuesday morning when he was confronted by another student in the locker room, accused of stealing his tennis shoes.
11Alive News has not been able to contact the student who threw the punch to hear his side of what happened leading up to the incident, however, according to Gwinnett Schools PIO Sloan Roach, the student was charged with battery.
Sad. Father is correct about not sending the kid back. But...what do you bet the school tries to make him? The schools don’t give up that funding all that easily.
These bastard children have cruel cruel hearts.
The parents should find out why the school didn’t call 911. They should investigate this school and sue the hell out of them.
The other thing to investigate is the thugs disciplinary history before this situation. A big problem is that starting as early as pre-K when the bad actors start acting like bullies, too many people enable their behavior by saying they’re “just playin’”. Usually, by the time the thugs do something seriously violent they’ve gotten away with so much for so long that there’s no reining them in.
Why do I suspect this was about the assailant wanting the shoes that the victim was wearing?

I wouldn’t let the son go back due to the condition of the nose. If his nose got hit again, he could very well be disfigured the rest of his life. He can stay on home study due to a medical condition with a teacher coming to the house if that is still available in schools. It was when I was a counselor in schools.
Dad should have showed up at school, and dialed 911 to report an attempted murder and emergency medical attention was needed ASAP. I wouldn’t have budged.
It doesn't matter. Obama through his butt buddy Holder are forcing schools across the country to stop disciplining negroes because they have a much higher rate of trouble making than any other group.
The reason why this viscous attack occurred is Negroes have been told/shown they can get away with attacking Caucasians to the point of murder without repercussions.

I got the same impression, he was trying to beat the kid into “admitting” that he stole the shoes he was wearing so he could have them for himself.
