There's no denying that cats are excellent companions, but sometimes they do something that leaves you scratching your head in total confusion. Yet it's these special behaviors, like affectionate head-butting and their penchant for cardboard boxes, that make us love them so much.

It didn’t mention anything about the ‘crazies’- when your cat suddenly takes off at break neck speed and races around the house then stops just as suddenly.
Or when they stare at something intensely- something you can’t see.
Most of our cats do this.

This stems from the cats inate ability to see into the 8th Dimension. Dr. Buckaroo Banzai conducted some ground breaking experimentation on this back in the 80's but was stopped due to a lack of funding.
Or when they stare at something intensely- something you can’t see.
This is typically an opening, or "rift" between the two dimensions. They are observing the Red Lectroids as they enter/exit the rift.
Patch will sometimes drop a toy mouse at my feet when she’s looking for attention. I guess I’ll keep petting her when she brings me toy mice; one of these days if I don’t do it she might bring me a real one!

Bryan and I have experienced all of those behaviors among the various cats we have adopted over the years.
We have researched them all and are quite familiar with the do’s and don’ts.
We have not been without a cat since the summer of 1982. ;-)
One of ours simply comes to my office, wanders in a circle around my chair, & gives a little trill. That means it’s time to come out & throw balls & assorted toys for her. I comply, since I’m staff & we both need the exercise.
