One of ours simply comes to my office, wanders in a circle around my chair, & gives a little trill. That means it’s time to come out & throw balls & assorted toys for her. I comply, since I’m staff & we both need the exercise.
We always know when Patch is bringing one of us a mouse because she meows with it in her mouth.
