I work with lots of foreigners. My particular favorite all came from Malaysia. When I was an engineer i needed a part made so I walked out in to the shop, loaded up the lathe, made the parts, and then welded it together. The Malaysians were aghast and one said, “You Americans are crazy, you aren’t afraid to do anything.”

I felt proud of that.

After reading your post, I regret that I turned down a chance to go to Misawa AB and came to CA instead...not what I would even remotely consider a good trade under the current circumstances.
