What three movie characters of all time do you hate the most? They may be the the evilist most merciless villian like the emperor in Gladiator, or just a smarmy self-righteous protagonist or whatever you want.
Meryl Streep is indeed the most overrated actress I can think of. Her “acting” is like watching a giant mechanical doll, squeaking and shuddering through its paces because it hasn’t been oiled lately. She’s a close second to Jar Jar.
No list is complete without Jar Jar Binks.
I was reading an outline tonight for a friend’s proposed children’s animated feature film. It was FULL of fart and booger jokes. And it was boring, to boot. All I could think was that I wouldn’t take my kids to see his proposed film in a million years.
Hollyweird makes so many gross-a-thon movies that it is getting hard to find the good ones. I remember when new horror movies came out monthly, now its even worse.
Obama, Holder, and Jarrett. Oh wait, you mean this isn’t a movie? (Now to see how many have said the same thing!)
I happen to know Doug (Percy). He’s kind of an arrogant jerk in real life, too - which is why I suspect he doesn’t get much work.
1) Anybody who portrays Obama
2) Anybody who portrays Hillary
3) Anybody who portrays Pelosi
Close seconds are:
"Hey, sprechen ze talk?"
Lot's of characters played by Gary Oldman
Amon Goeth
Why so serious?
Anton Chigurh--" What's the most you ever lost on a coin toss? "
The Denzel Washington character from training day. I had a huge crush until that character.
Dennis Hopper from Blue Velvet. He really scared me.
Oooh, yes.
I got to work with Robert years ago. He’s s very nice and generous guy.
I agree. Phony voices and ham handed comedy is not only not funny, it engenders pity for the obviously desperate for attention.
The warden from Shawshank Redemption who was also the police captain in Demolition Man. Anything Alan Alda was in once M*A*S*H ended.
The entire cast of Full House
Meryl Streep
Susan Sarandon
Ed Asner
All the Japanese in “The Bridge Over the River Kwai,” and in “Bataan,”
All the Germans in “The Great Escape,” and
All the viet kong in “The Green Berets.”
Andy Robinson played the psycho killer so well in “Dirty Harry” that he complained that he was typecast and did indeed have a hard time getting acting roles as an ordinary person. He did play Harmon, Walter Matthau’s partner in crime in “Charlie Varrick.” I can’t think of him in another movie, although I’m sure he was in others.
Did you see him in “Red Rock West” which also had Dennis Hopper and Lara Flynn Boyle?
You left out pre-pubescent kids being smarter/wiser than the adults and/or getting all the so-called laugh lines.
Hate as in wanting to see dead? I guess Kurtwood Smith as Clarence Boddicker in “Robocop”, Alan Rickman as Hans the terrorist in the first “Diehard”, and Andy Robinson as the psychotic killer in “Dirty Harry” stand out. And Alan Rickman also played a great villain in “Quigley Down Under.”
Seven of Nine? That chick’s antics eventually got us Barry Soetoro. I call her “The borg who destroyed the world”. I’m not entirely sure yet if that’s funny or not.
Anakin Skywalker in Phantom Menace. NOT Jar-Jar, because he’s SUPPOSED to be irrirtating. Ana King is supposed to be the protagonist.
The Wesley Crusher guy in the Star Trek TNG; they did a movie, right?
Randy Quaid
The daughter in “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner”
Gregory Peck in “Gentleman’s Agreement” (takes sanctimony to a new level)
