What three movie characters of all time do you hate the most? They may be the the evilist most merciless villian like the emperor in Gladiator, or just a smarmy self-righteous protagonist or whatever you want.
“the Aaron Sorkin-based characters who think talking fast in a sarcastic and belitting manner in a cringing attempt to seem intelligent. Especially when dealing with complex plot lines.”
You just described every liberal I’ve ever known.
Ben Stiller as that Fockker whats his name.
And as guy that ruined the “something about Mary”movie with
his “hair gel”.
I wanna kick his asss.
He ‘s not funny.
“An abomination of a movie character, period. Ill-conceived, poorly executed, and bally pointless. Jar Jar isnt good enough to rank as skin tag of a movie character.”
Jar-Jar shows us clearly what Sodomywood thinks of people who go to movies like Star Trek: unintelligent, nerdy children. I think that offends everyone who goes to movies like Star Trek, on some level. YMMV.
That’s not confined to Science Fiction, either. When they made the sequel to Conan the Barbarian, they could have gone older/more intelligent, they could have stayed the same, or they could have shifted younger/less intelligent.
I don’t think anyone was surprised at the direction they took, but what a waste.
Imagine what we would have if they had made each Star Wars sequel for an audience 10% more intelligent than the last.
"Dickless" from Ghostbusters.
No, not really... just thinking of 3 movie characters I hated.
“What three movie characters of all time do you hate the most?”
Is this Reddit?
Spot on.
YES! I was trying to remember his name to post it myself.
IMAGINE, anyone messing with John Wayne and not representing the depth of badest of the BAD. Great acting.
Nicholas Cage in anything except Raising Arizona
Virginia Woolfe. Watching it right now on Amazon Prime. Yikes, ugliest character ever in a movie. Thoroughly loathsome.
He was an excellent character to hate because he represented every petty, power hungry bureaucrat who ever made you miserable because of their feckless, blinkard pettiness.
I see you “get” what I’m talking about.
I also didn’t like Captain Janeway in the Voyager series because I would have fired her from the very first episode. She has a whole ship of about a hundred people, and could have used the alien device to send 99 of them home and keep one of them there to try their best to maintain the alien device. Instead, she risks the lives of all 100, losing about half of them along the way, to get home. As I watched the series I would say, “She’s fired” for whatever mistake, and it drove my wife crazy.
I kept firing Deanna Troi as well, because she could have used her betazoid telepathy powers to read the minds of whoever was causing trouble but didn’t do it most of the time. “wrong species” or some baloney — then what the hell was she good for, other than bitchy meddling? They should have tossed her character in the first season.
If I were left 100 million dollars and wanted to make my own comedy there would be 3 things which would be verboten. Anyone who tried to put them in would be immediately fired.
First: no fart jokes.
Second: No man gets hit in the balls.
Third: No scenes where the guy brags about how much better he can do something/anything better than a girl only to be immediately embarrassed by a girl doing it better.
No children are smart and adults are stupid
No kids talking dirty and crap
probably a lot of other stuff
Roger Rabbit.
What the hell did Jessica see in him?
Mr Potter in Its a wonderful life.
The “ It puts the lotion on its skin, or it gets the hose again”
from Silence of the Lambs.
That movie gave me nightmares.
Any Ben Affleck character.
Any Matt Damon character.
Sean Penn.
Indeed, the whole touchy-feely “Therapy Culture” balderdash behind having a counselor on the bridge was a bit much. That sais, she did fill out that one-piece uniform quite nicely.
He was a charactet I loved to hate. A bureaucrat. Plays the part too perfectly.
“Well that’s what I heard!”
