Remember that video of the plane crash in Hawaii after which Hawaii Health Director Loretta Fuddy "died"?

You need to take a closer look.

My computer is acting up so I’m not able to get your image into Picture Manager to brighten up, but if you look at that image with it bright enough to see, you see that what you call a “knee” is almost perfectly round - like a bowling ball sitting on top of the water. How the heck is a knee going to look like that? Even if her knee was sticking STRAIGHT UP it would still make a triangular shape with the knee as the point. There is no way to make a knee sticking up into the shape of a circle.

And if you say it’s bubbling where her pants are, why would that make a circle? I’ve looked at lots and lots of images and I have not seen bubbling like that on ANYBODY.

And nobody is answering the questions I asked, regarding how the yellow-sole theory would even work. How would you get the whole oval of the sole showing? Would her pants bubble up a couple feet away from where her leg needs to be in order to have the full oval of the sole show up?

It just doesn’t work. I dare you to show me any image from that video where anybody else has bubbling of their clothes.

My point is, because we have ankles, you can’t look at the position of the foot and determine from that what position the rest of the body must be in. You could only determine that if the foot was rigidly attached to the leg and couldn’t swivel.

My point is, show me the photo of what you guys are proposing actually working on a real human body.

Well, I’m not about to jump into the ocean fully clothed with a photographer just because you don’t want to acknowledge what is apparent to most people.

Or how about we’re looking at two stills from two moments in time in what is a very dynamic environment with wind, waves, currents and people all having an effect on the aircraft?

You can take photos of you right there on the floor. Put on a shoe with a light sole, put a camera on a tripod a little bit away from you, and try to simulate the position Fuddy would have had to be in to get the full oval of your sole to show to the camera.

I double-dog dare you.

Well, you’ve asked the question multiple times. You’ve dismissed (incorrectly IMHO) all the points raised about what people think it might be.

Are you going to tell us what you think it is and why?

“The pilot was also, I believe, a glider pilot and could be relied on to accomplish this water set-down relatively safely.”

If it was an intentional ditching, a competent pilot wouldn’t have chosen a fixed gear plane to do that with. There’s no way to be sure that you could make a water landing safely without flipping over in a plane like that.

I’ve asked clarifying questions that challenge the theory that it is Fuddy’s shoes, and I’ve shown more stuff and asked what that stuff is. Nobody is engaging with what I’ve posted. The few responses I’ve gotten are just repetition of what’s been said before, without addressing my response/questions/new material.

I have no interest in just talking to myself.

#1 - I don’t have a camera with a tripod.
#2 - I’m not going to try to explain to someone why I want them to take pictures of me lying on the floor, just to satisfy you.

I don’t think it would make a difference even if someone posted a photo duplicating the exact position in the photo, because you would probably just find some little nit to pick so that you wouldn’t have to concede.

So what do you think the images show?

“As no red blooded woman, no matter how old or overweight she might be, would wear yellow/green sports shoes with black trousers and a purple shirt with a white/purple-print jacket, I think it’s safe to assume the shoes belong to Yamamoto.”

I wouldn’t be so sure. A lot of women I know keep a pair of comfortable shoes with them when they are traveling, so she could have changed shoes on the plane, thinking nobody but the other passengers would see her, and she could change back to her nice shoes before she got off.

You’ll see that later on in the same thread, I searched for shoes that might have the same sole configuration seen in the water, and I posted an image of just such an item. Later, it was shown she was wearing black shoes with a thick, lighter coloured sole in an image from the aircraft interior. The colour yellow/green must have been due to the film itself, it changes from lime green through to yellow and then grey. So yes, it seems that is her shoe one sees.

Information under discussion PROGRESSES throughout the thread.

Butter, I do know a lot about the human body and ankles are very versatile. If she was thrashing or even riding the waves causing her legs to bend or cycle or whatever, the ankle has a lot of mobility. It is fruitless to ask the questions you are asking. I could lay down on the floor and have my body in many angles to my foot or even my foot’s rotation. With no pain involved.

Why don’t you state your hypothesis in order to make your questions relevant or even interesting. I love a good conspiracy and they exist, and there is something hinky about Fuddy and the way she died, but so far, there doesn’t seem to be a SHRED of evidence that these photos show anything amiss. That doesn’t mean there isn’t anything amiss. But obsessing over angles of bodies in the sea, any speck of blurry something on the surface, is pointless.

You showed great logic and conviction with all the discrepancies in Hawaii documentation and the BC. You are not showing the same logic here, and it scares me a little. Maybe just get outside and clear your mind and focus on other things for a bit. We need you at full strength.

I have to ask myself...are you reading ALL the responses, or just those addressed to you? For example, way back, there was a discussion about that ballooning effect of what appears to be her trouser-leg. Looking at the image of the leg we see in the aircraft, she seems to have been wearing pants that had elastic in the cuff at the ankle. If that’s the case, then the trouser leg would hold air until the fabric was totally saturated. A close-weave fabric, especially something like polyester, would hold air for quite some time, and cause the garmet to balloon until all the air had escaped.
You couldn’t duplicate that effect until you laid yourself into a bathtub full of water.

Proviso: I might have answered this same question on private mail and not on the thread. I’m losing track.

Your whole post above is practically insanity.

What the hell are you searching for in these grainy photos of survivors (and Fuddy) floating in the ocean? What is your purpose in asking what we see? Many have engaged with what you have posted, but seriously: it is pure insanity to try and figure out every minute detail in photos - for WHAT? What are you seeking, and what do you think you see or MIGHT see?

You have shown no new material. It’s the same video. It was interesting figuring out who was whom in the shots, but so far everything looks the way it was described.

There is crime solving and web sleuthing, and there is losing touch with logic.

When you are on the freeway and see someone driving the wrong way, watch out and get help for them. When you are driving on the freeway and everyone else is going the wrong way, question yourself.
