OK there is a question being asked right now on Fox News Channel, about jobs.
Specifically the question was "Where have all the jobs gone".
Duh. CHINA.
Try asking someone under forty what a ‘’factory’’ is. They won’t have a clue.
The job to have is like mine. I fix those automatic machines when they break. There are not many who can do what I can do.
There are even less who can write the programs from the bottom up that make those machines work.
>>I myself, strongly support US tariffs.
Bring back US manufacturing.<<
So, $500 for a basic Microwave is cool with you? $1,000 for a basic washer?
$75,000 for a basic car?
Please describe to us the economics behind your proposal.
Sure why not legislate those jobs into existence?
America has itself, legislated itself out of manufacturing.
China has aggressive trade barriers.
So does just about every country we trade with. We seem to be the only country left in the world, selling off our own factories.
Bring back American jobs.
Now.
With Bambicare it is more cost-effective to outsource our jobs than hire Americans.
You must not be an employer or you would know that.
Now it is up to the voter to lay off every congresscritter who voted in favor of Bambicare. Vote them all out!
1. The Baby Boomers are done raising families. They are now downsizing. That huge group needed everything in life to raise families.
2. Automation in every business functional are makes everything easier, faster, or unnecessary.
3. Illegals doing jobs under the radar for cash.
4. Foreign competition even when they assemble the product here.
5. Outsourcing.
Obama has introduced millions more Americans to a life of leisure.
/lol
>Now that Im old, they dont build big buildings anymore.<
.
Yes they do — they call them mosques.
He likes Obamacare.
Here is what you do, if you want those jobs to return.
You have to make it cheaper for companies to hire people. Currently, whatever you are paying people for a job, it’s often 50% more costly because of the various government regulations and taxes. So, if I hire somebody for the minimum wage of $8.00/hour, it’s actually costing me about $12.00/hour to keep him.
Compare with having to pay somebody $2.00/day for the same job.
Convince me, as an employer, why it would be worth my while to bring this $2.00/day job back home and pay $96.00/day for the same job?
When you vilify businesses and make the business climate unbearable, they move to friendlier climates. They should be celebrating getting rid of those greedy industrialists.
Pray America is Waking Up
Just saying.
Buy American.
Bud Fox: How much is enough?
Gordon Gekko: It's not a question of enough, pal. It's a zero sum game, somebody wins, somebody loses. Money itself isn't lost or made, it's simply transferred from one perception to another...
In other words...we were sold out long ago.
...but only after being sold a bill of goods by our "representatives" and their corporate, Wall & K Street crime bosses...
...all of whom I like to refer to as..."The Langoliers"
(eating away...until there's nothing left).
Lowering the tax rate and regulations would bring jobs if they wanted them. Marxism and jobs never mix.
Also getting the Feds out of education would also help.
It was less than 10 yrs ago that unemployment was near or below a real 5%, you couldn’t find people to do good jobs and wages were rising.
Deregulate, lower taxes, and engage in real fair trade and the USA will boom again. The world used to want to do business here.
Europe won’t compete (except Germany) communist South America can’t compete, Africa forget it. Asia and eastern Europe are the only competition, formidable yes, but entrepreneurial creativity is ingrained in our DNA.
We have to get off this Obama everything social equality, and no individual enterprise mentality soon or the entire world will suffer greatly.
Thank you for that reply.
But I believe we have lost sight, as a party, of the power of American manufacturing.
America needs to stop importing everything. Bring back US jobs, and US manufacturing.
American needs to re-industrialize.
Stop putting the cart before the horse.
