The job to have is like mine. I fix those automatic machines when they break. There are not many who can do what I can do.

There are even less who can write the programs from the bottom up that make those machines work.

Even that is in a bad position, have you seen the IBM commercial about machines that figure out they’re going to break before they break, and then “report” in to where they get fixed by other machines.

As the machines get smarter even the programming of them is at risk, there will have to be someone to program the AI but if they can learn the job from the manual we’re talking a lot less programmers.

It’s an interesting world, tech has always been a force multiplier but the level of multiplication is getting such that I’m really not sure where the people fit anymore.
