"Omaha" versus "You mad, bro?"
Super Bowl XLVIII between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks is setting up to be a classic contest in which the surgical Peyton Manning will try to perhaps cap off his career and legacy against the brash--and best (ask Richard Sherman)--Seattle secondary that has smothered the league's best wide receivers all season long.
Simply put, the league's top offense (Denver) will face the league's top defense (Seattle). Something has to give.

Manning was playing defense today as much as he was playing offense. He put together long time consuming drives that kept Brady sitting on the sideline. Broncos had the ball ten minutes more than the Patriots. The Seahawks defense will have to match his precision in order to get Manning off the field.
Manning knows how to win. That’s what he does.... Seahawks seem to know how to lose the big games. Still, congrats to them for beating out the rest of the NFC this year.
IMO, the Patriots would beat Seattle in the SB too if it had turned out that way.
Seattle really earned the win in the only other Super Bowl they went to but anyone who was watching SB XL knows that the officiating set a new record for stink.
Not NFC champs, NFC West divisional champs.
Six of the last ten years.
I think there was like 3 times the refs went to throw a flag and pulled one of those idjit terrible towels out of their back pockets...
After Shermans temper tantrum, I hope the Broncos win 100-0.
Richard Sherman was in “Beast Mode” when he made his remark about Crabtree. I imagine Crabtree was spewing out his nastiness at Sherman throughout the game. That end of game swat on Sherman’s helmet by Crabtree may have caused Sherman to let loose.
Oh - thanks! (I didn’t think we were that good!)
Go Hawks!
49ers deserved it. They are the most classless, trash-talking team in the league and get away with more cheap shots and penalties than any team in the league.
And that little mobster Eddie D is probably still greasing the refs.
Anyone that would bribe a sitting governor with 400k cash for a Riverboat Gambling License isn’t beyond fixing a few playoff and Super Bowls.
Living in the Bay Area, I’ve heard all kinds of stories about this little mobster and seen way too many fishy games to know that it’s more than just luck or coincidence.
The 49ers have been penalized draft picks for cheating the salary cap for paying players under the table and probably still are.
How are guys like NaVarro Bowman and Patrick Willis playing for 6-7 Million a year when top ILB’s are making 2x as much?
He’s probably still running two sets of books to fit the payroll under the salary cap.
Two gentlemen going head to head. It’ll be a great game.
If the refs ever start calling defensive holding, Seattle is toast. If the NFL is not enforcing those penalties, the rule should be changed for everyone, not just Pete Carroll.
Since I didn't have a dog in this hunt I pulled for Seattle when I read that Pelosi has a thing for the SF quarterback.
Plus she is from SF
Here’s hoping the all weather sport sees some weather
10-4 LOL
After listening to that classless moron Richard Sherman after the game, I gotta pull for the Broncos. Pete Carroll supervised a dirty program at USC, and I have zilch respect for him...
Steelers won
I like Peyton, but don't care for the way Denver handled the Tebow situation.
I sure as hell don't care for "Cactus" Pete the cheater.
So I will pull for Denver. . .
The Pot Bowl.
