WASHINGTON The Obama administration is urging schools to abandon overly zealous discipline policies that civil rights advocates have long said lead to a school-to-prison pipeline that discriminates against minority students.
The wide-ranging series of guidelines issued Wednesday in essence tells schools that they must adhere to the principle of fairness and equity in student discipline or face strong action if they don't. The American Civil Liberties Union called the recommendations "ground-breaking."

Oddly enough, The Race has returned to the old rule of “One drop is enough” but they’ve added “if you are a liberal” to it.

Yet this abysmal imbecile bigot Holder would stay the hand of school administration to assign consequences to these students which are appropriate to the level of seriousness of the deed, threatening them with consequences of their own as a "reward" for trying to maintain the tone of their schools.
One only wonders what new scandalous deed Holder is trying to divert the public's attention from with this idiotic idea.
this will lead to white flight from public schools. enrollments will go down and funds to schools will go down, teachers unions will shrink. whites will migrate to private schools to get away from an ever increasing dangerous environment that will have its hands tied correcting the problem. it can’t e fixed now and it will be worse soon.
Or, a group home. We teachers found out that enough calls from us and the kid would be moved to a new group or foster home so we'd pile on the calls -- ALL of them justified, AFAIC. We are talking about real miscreants who prevented us from doing our jobs, made sure no one in the entire class learned -- along with threatening to F- us teachers up, etc. I've always said it violates a student's civil rights to have his education constantly disrupted by thugs. I know it is much much worse now - I've moved on to a better school with much better students and my entire life has improved dramatically. Horrible experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. The public has NO IDEA what goes on in these types of schools on a daily basis.

In NYC anyway, there would not be ROOM for a “special room” such as you describe. They have to take over teachers lounges, closets, anything to find space to put kids. Lots of illegals occupying seats in the system sure doesn’t help, AND they require a lot of special services, bilingual teachers, some schools even issue bilingual memos to everyone. Secondly, some libtard would sic the ACLU on the school, citing they were somehow “discriminating” against the b.a.’s, denying them equal education, “traumatizing” them, hurting their feeeeelings, whatever. Guaranteed.
Today, I had the misfortune of going to the US Post Office.
There was a medium-to-long line. Slow. Three people at the counter: old hippy white guy, angry black lady, and Hispanic 20 something. The white guy and the Hispanic were dutifully going through the customers.
The black lady would give a little nod to blacks in line and they would cut, walk to the front, and she would serve them.
Can’t wait until she’s in charge of my health care.
