You're welcome, Civ. With all the serious problems we have with trying to keep schools a place where you can get on the road to becoming an educated person, anything which interferes with that process is a direct threat. A threat to education, a threat to other students' safety and a threat to the safety of school personnel. I cannot begin to count how many times I've been threatened by black students with "F--k you, I gonna shoot/stab/end/snuf/etc. you," "F--k you, we gonna find you after school and jump you," been spit on, been hit in the head by deliberately thrown beverage bottles or candy, been deliberately bumped into, etc. Colleagues have been hospitalized after having been assaulted by students, mostly black. Even if a student is not physically violent but daily disrupts the class, they are certainly guilty of theft of services because the teacher will have to stop the lesson to deal with them. And then take precious time when they could be grading papers or xeroxing handouts or making up a test or perfecting their Commie Core lesson to call the parents (you average a 25% chance of reaching them) of the perp. Nine times out of ten, such a chronically disruptive kid is found to be in foster care.
Yet this abysmal imbecile bigot Holder would stay the hand of school administration to assign consequences to these students which are appropriate to the level of seriousness of the deed, threatening them with consequences of their own as a "reward" for trying to maintain the tone of their schools.
One only wonders what new scandalous deed Holder is trying to divert the public's attention from with this idiotic idea.
