Vitamins help us a lot. Just personal experience but
A big plus for us. I think this guy is just wrong.
Who in hell eats good healthy food all the time?
I never went back to that moron...
They discuss heart attacks and cancer, and they only address people who eat “healthy” diets.
Pegnancy?
The wifey, a Registered Dietitian, says that it is preferable to get one’s vitamins from a health diet, but if you don’t eat well, take vitamins. (Like me)
Mark Sircus is one who knows much about health and what is good for us. I trust him. I consider him a friend. I have had conversation with him on the phone. I first got acquainted with him through his book, ‘Transdermal Magnesium’. He is correct on that, and on everything else of his that I have read. Again, I trust him.
It becomes expensive urine if your body is getting what it needs already.
Yes, many supplements are not recognized or absorbed by the body, but there are some formulations that are--were they tested?
When you don’t or can’t eat right .... vitamins are in my scram bag.
do you frequent the iodine sites?
Of course, these same doctors won't release any reports on the efficacy of some of the pharmaceuticals they have prescribed that may have ended up killing their patients.
Don't take vitamins. The last thing Big Pharma wants is healthy people!
So, the 1st study “found no evidence that vitamin and mineral supplementation would reduce heart disease in pill takers.”
“The next study....found the multivitamin did nothing to slow cognitive decline among men 65 and older compared to placebo takers.”
“The third study looked specifically at multivitamins and minerals role in preventing another heart attack, or myocardial infarction.”
But what about energy and other aspects?

I generally ignore these studies until they are replicated with a 57 out of 113 pro or con. I still remember the “drinking coffee will kill you” daily yes it will or no it won’t several years ago.
And a Johns Hopkins grad told my father that cigarettes probably wouldn’t hurt him and his ulcers were best treated with a creamy, fatty diet. It was the third heart attack that killed my dad
Quack Pot.
So all multivitamins are exactly the same?
If it wasn’t for the fact that many of our processed foods are vitamin fortified, we definitely would be vitamin deficient.
Also, I know of no one who takes vitamins to prevent heart attacks or cancer. People usually take vitamins to help prevent infections, boost metabolism, and reduce anemia and hypertension.
I think this doctor is uninformed, but that isn’t surprising.
Until I see a “cast in concrete, settled law” report that proves multivitamins are bad for you, I will continue to take one each day. What could possibly go wrong?
I’ve been thinking Americans will turn to homeopathic remedies , like vitamins and herbs, as ObamaCare shuts down Americans access to doctors. I also been thinking that the medical establishment will fight back against alternative treatments to the point they will try to make vitamins and other over-the-counter remedies illegal.
This story confirms what I have been thinking.
