The health director who approved the release of President Obama’s birth certificate has died in a plane crash, Hawaiian officials said Thursday.
Loretta Fuddy died after the Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft she was travelling on went down shortly after leaving Kalaupapa Airport at around 3:15 p.m. local time (10:15 a.m. ET) on Wednesday.
The other eight people on board were rescued, Richard Schuman, president of Makani Kai Air, told NBC News early Thursday, adding that that there was no indication as to why the plane had crashed.
Fuddy hit the headlines two years ago when she approved a waiver request allowing Obama to access certified copies of his birth certificate, signed by the delivery doctor, Obama’s mother and the local registrar. His mother, then 18, signed her name (Stanley) Ann Dunham Obama.

Around here if LEO does not disclose cause of death it’s because they are still questioning and searching for the person(s) who were the cause of the “cause of death”. They don’t want to tip anyone off of what they know!

Besides, my Republican Congresspeople tell me "He was born in Hawaii." Yes, that BC thingie is assuredly not an actual document, but I have been assured that it contains "data on file with the HIDOH." Besides from 10-12 feet away (3-4 Meters) the latest iterations look darn good.

The full-height pictures of Fuddy seem to put her weight well over 200 lbs. Experiencing a crash and the aftermath could easily overstress an older person who may already have medical issues, I would think.
It is not uncommon for older persons to die of heart attack during stressful events that are readily survived by younger folks. As a New Englander I think of all those who die shoveling snow!

Yeah, the enforcement are of the Obama Administration is the place to run... Frightened chickens should run to the Fox who's guarding the hen house...

Still alive here. I shovel show like a high powered steam shovel. Heck, I like shoveling snow. ...But I do many physical tasks with gusto. :-)

Fuddy never made it out of the plane according to official accounts from the Coast Guard pilot and the Maui Fire Dept.

I have read on one of the threads that the feds are not going to bring the plane up to look at it. Have you read about this one way or the other?
According to reports from Hawaii, it is likely that we might never determine the actual cause of the crash. The reason? Conditions in this area of the ocean “prohibit” investigators from recovering the plane. There is no intention of recovering the airplane, according to various reports.
Yes, I’ve read that too. However, Fuddy’s autopsy results are being withheld from the public. If Fuddy’s death is questionable, it may lead to raising the plane from the ocean.
No, they should run to Russia, like Snowden did. And yes, I’m being serious.
I hope there are honest people who would be the ones to make these decisions.
Hopefully, the autopsy report will be released soon, or else there will have to be a suit under the Hawaii Freedom of Information law (or whatever its equivalent is called) to force its release.
If anyone believes that, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell him or her. If most of the wreckage of TWA 800 could be recovered from presumably deeper waters, what kind of conditions could prohibit an attempt at this recovery? Somehow, I don't think Hawaiian weather conditions are generally as rough as those off New York.
So do I. I’ve got an injured left arm, though, and I don’t know what we’ll do for snow shoveling this year because I usually shovel with gusto but can’t do repetitive movements with my arm or lift more than 10 pounds. It’s driving me crazy.

Injured left arm? How did that happen? I had the same very painful problem, the chiropractor said...how many hours a day to you spend at the keyboard?
It looks like a repetitive strain injury...
I changed the position of the screen and the height of the chair, and stopped resting my left arm in front of the keyboard as I surfed. Hope this helps. But if you had a physical injury, it won’t make much difference I guess.
Two treatments from him and the changes ... and I was ok.
Just how rough could it have been...one of the survivors SWAM the mile to shore.
