This is ridiculous. I suppose it’s possible the kid was ‘fake-burping’ loudly in order to disrupt the class, but even in that case, is arrest really the way to handle things? If the kid is acting up and disrupting the class, send him to the principal’s office.

Now that this child has a “criminal record,” he will no longer be allowed to purchase a firearm when he gets old enough to do so.

They got rid of corporal punishment, like the paddle, and replaced it with "time out." But "time out" does not work as well as the threat of corporal punishment.
So, the only option left is getting the kids arrested.
That is what we are forking over at least $12,000 per student per year for, plus the kids can't fill out an application if they manage to graduate.
