Brookline — Brookline’s animal control officer was undergoing tests at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on Tuesday, Nov. 5, after being knocked down by his own police vehicle while responding to a report of an aggressive turkey.

I'm picturing a WWII movie where some soldier gets winged by a sniper. He's on the ground groaning, but the Corpsman tries to cheer him: "It's a ticket home, Buddy!"
What we see here is a government employee who just gave himself disability for life. Injured while on duty. He was in fear of his life. You can mail his check to the following address ...

I would have been very disappointed if I had opened the thread and didn’t find any WKRP references.

I had an attack turkey for a while. He hated the school bus, if he was out of the run he would chase it until it finally outran him.
He also hated large paper bags. My daughter walked out with a bag of charcoal briquettes and Tom knocked the bag out of her hand.
She had to adjust his attitude.
