It's called FRAUD IN THE INDUCEMENT and it's a crime

Fraud in the inducement n. the use of deceit or trick to cause someone to act to his/her disadvantage, such as signing an agreement or deeding away real property. The heart of this type of fraud is misleading the other party as to the facts upon which he/she will base his/her decision to act. Example: "there will be tax advantages to you if you let me take title to your property," or "you don't have to read the rest of the contract--it is just routine legal language" but actually includes a balloon payment. (See: fraud, extrinsic fraud)

Or "If you like your health care, you can keep it"

OK Is anyone ready to impeach Obastard yet?

And Pelosi ("we have to pass the bill to find out what's in it") too

The knew what was in it, they knew they were lying, and the led people to support it against their interests.

extrinsic fraud

n. fraudulent acts which keep a person from obtaining information about his/her rights to enforce a contract or getting evidence to defend against a lawsuit. This could include destroying evidence or misleading an ignorant person about the right to sue. Extrinsic fraud is distinguished from "intrinsic fraud," which is the fraud that is the subject of a lawsuit.

Impeached? He could massacre a troop of girl scouts on the White House lawn during the Easter Egg roll, butcher them, barbecue them and serve them to all the participants and he still wouldn’t be impeached. And if you criticized him about it, the press would say “it’s a black thing” and accuse you of being a racist tea bagging rethuglican for bringing it up while licking their fingers and asking Michelle what kind of spice rub they’re using and ask for more macaroni & cheese and a refill of their kool-aid.

Yes, obamacare is fraud indeed and deception of the worst sort, but American citizens on the left are communists and national socialists who look only to benefit themselves in any situation and do not care an iota about their fellow man, they are an evil people. And there are many of them in the rino GOP and libertarian denominations also.
Lying means nothing to them and they don’t expect any kickback from America and do not fear God. Godless people hate their fellow man as their lust of the flesh and lust of the eyes and pride of life blind them to the fact that God has promised to judge all men by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Not a lawyer so I was just wondering if that particular charge carries the death penalty?

Yup. The only way you would ever get an impeachment is by making a lot of democrats fear that they may go to prison if Bammy doesn’t.

[Boehner AKA “The No Nutz Putz”]

The demonrats and GOP got rid of their best man Tom Delay and persecuted him in the unjust justice system and now look at the worthless fools who go along to get along, and it is so sad that America is becoming a ruble. Yet, when you see these things coming to pass on the earth, look up, for the Lord cometh to set up His Kingdom after the 7 year tribulation when the man of sin, the antichrist, will rule over all who hated God in the flesh and who will make a devastation and bloodshed like never before seen on the earth, yet Jesus Christ our Lord and judge of all souls of mankind will return at the end of the 7 year devastation to set up His Millennial rule as King of the whole earth.

Impeachment isn’t your standard criminal type trial. If convicted, all they can do is force him out of the Presidency. They would need to file a Criminal complaint after he resigns.

I doubt bonafide criminal charges cannot be brought against a sitting President. They must be impeached first.

I’m sure they can be disbarred though, and he should be disbarred and impeached and convicted, then charged under the normal Justice system.

What Obama really meant was: “If we like your insurance plan, you might be able to keep it”.

IANAL but Megyn Kelly is, and she made this same argument the other night. She said any DA would prosecute on evidence like we have.

Such as voting for a con man. IOW, the typical content of a political stump speech. Has Obama claimed 1st amendment protection yet?

Could somebody sue 0bama for fraud in civil court? Didn’t Paula Jones win a Supreme Court case against Clinton that established the precedent that sitting presidents can be sued.

“Clinton v. Jones, 520 U.S. 681 (1997), was a landmark United States Supreme Court case establishing that a sitting President of the United States has no immunity from civil law litigation against him, for acts done before taking office and unrelated to the office.”

— The Wiki menace, not definitive, but a good indicator of what directly this would take.

Ask your Left-wing friends this simple question: “How would you feel about an insurance agent who sold you an insurance policy based on these same kind of lies.”

You have no case. You were not induced into anything, nor was your Representative. The law says what the law says, it was up to our “Representative” to read it and vote against it to protect our interests.

Collectively as a body neither the House nor the Senate did that. Your recourse is only to work to elect people who will submit and vote for a bill that will repeal this bad law/policy. Good luck.

If lying in a political speech was illegal, there would be no politicians. Hey, Obama also said he would make the rest of the world love us again, hows that workin’ out?

The law says what it says, we are made to follow those laws, it’s time the FedGov be held to the same standard. There are people who are holding the FedGov’s feet to the fire.
