General Dynamics Electric Boat will christen North Dakota (SSN-784), the U.S. Navy's newest and most advanced nuclear attack submarine, at a ceremony at its shipyard here on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m.

A "live" video and audio webcast of the North Dakota christening will be accessible online at: www.gdeb.com. Webcast coverage will begin Saturday at 10:30 a.m. EDT; the ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. and conclude at approximately 12:15 p.m. The program will be available for on-demand replay for one week, beginning at approximately 2:30 p.m. EDT on Saturday.

Any suggestions how I use Win-7 to record the ceremony, which I have a lot of relatives (contractors) attending, would be appreciated.

Windows Media Center? Never used it before in 4yrs. Duh.

If you can get a copy of Camtasia Studio it has a screen recorder incuded with it. Costs tho

Wish I could help. I have a very similar setup to yours. I tried opening Windows Media Center to see if it gave any info without actually going through the process of activating it, but to no avail.

You may just have to fire it up, hope it has good instructions, and wing it! Sounds like it would be really neat for you to record this. Sorry I wasn't helpful. Good luck.

D/L, install, then enter the link/URL to view the live event.
I believe there is a Record button to save the video.

Any Video recorder has a quirky interface, but it does a pretty good job of recording, and it is fairly easy to figure out.
