Any suggestions how I use Win-7 to record the ceremony, which I have a lot of relatives (contractors) attending, would be appreciated.
Windows Media Center? Never used it before in 4yrs. Duh.

Wish I could help. I have a very similar setup to yours. I tried opening Windows Media Center to see if it gave any info without actually going through the process of activating it, but to no avail.
You may just have to fire it up, hope it has good instructions, and wing it! Sounds like it would be really neat for you to record this. Sorry I wasn't helpful. Good luck.

Videolan. It's open source software ...
free.
D/L, install, then enter the link/URL to view the live event.
I believe there is a Record button to save the video.

I would be helpful if you knew the streaming platform used (probably Adobe Flash).
I use Applian Media Catcher with great success:

Can convert to format of your choice (if so desired) after.

Any Video recorder has a quirky interface, but it does a pretty good job of recording, and it is fairly easy to figure out.

I also have tried CamStudio, but have never had good luck with lengthy recording. It seems to error out.
