Oh, oh, oreo. Ever feel like you could eat the whole bag yourself? According to a new study youre not a glutton, youre addicted.
A student at Connecticut College found lab rats that ate oreos were just as strongly associated to them as lab rats that were injected with cocaine or morphine. (Via WNCN)
And, this sounds even more dangerous eating Oreos activated even more neurons in the pleasure centers of rats brains than those addicted drugs did. (Via YouTube / Oreo)

Oh, great. As if we didn't have enough to worry about, now we gotta be scared of Oreos.

For me, this means that Coke and Morph are not addictive. Assuming it is true...

Only if they’re in ice cream.

Oreos are good. But it has been
years since we bought a package for the house. Not because of any fear of addition but because we are getting to the age that we can use a lot less sugar in our diet.
I'll still eat one, or two, or even three if I am at a gathering where they are offered, but I actually get a bigger craving for popcorn.

Newsflash: humans addicted to food. That still doesn't make it the Oreo’s fault if you get fat.
I hope this wasn't funded by our tax dollars. Next their going to see if anyone can eat just one Lays potato chip.

Maybe the gubmint will start a program for addicts to receive clean Oreos or at least Hydrox (a cheaper alternative) that hasn’t had their patent bought out by Big Cookie.

I apologize for being the bearer of bad news. This morning, Mika said this was "really important."
I turned on the DVR for Morning Joe shortly after that, when I saw that Robert Redford was going to be on the show.
Redford absolutely despises Scarborough, and refers to him as "Small Mouth". Hopefully, there will be a few fireworks.

I don’t usually buy them - sugared Crisco between two not-quite-chocolate-flavored wafers, and then there’s the rainbow thing. They’re not healthy and I don’t really like them. However, my children do and they were on sale and I hadn’t bought any for more than a year.
This research explains why I ate seven or eight in one sitting. I swear, I don’t like them!
