Oreos are good. But it has been years since we bought a package for the house. Not because of any fear of addition but because we are getting to the age that we can use a lot less sugar in our diet.

I'll still eat one, or two, or even three if I am at a gathering where they are offered, but I actually get a bigger craving for popcorn.

Amen brother, Amen. Nothing better than good popcorn....although I must admit, I put a lot of melted BUTTER on mine.

"Social user," only, eh? Ya', I know your type. A Chippie. "Only on the weekends. I can maintain, man. I can maintain. It's cool." Sure. Next thing ya' know those little poppers ain't enough. You need bigger kicks. The hard stuff. "Newtonian brown" is what you crave. Days fade into weeks and months. Then one morning you wake up 50 lbs overweight, in a seedy motel room. The nightstand holds a half empty glass of curdled milk, and the floor is littered with the remnants of gutted packs...of Fig Newtons. Your a mainliner.
