You're very lucky to have your 13-year-old son. Stay strong, even if this is temporary it can take a while to recover.
You have my prayers, FRiend. Now find a different doctor and get there ASAP. Do not assume this will just go away of its own volition, even though it might.
Prayers up!
Careful, in the Bay Area, we have swarms of fake Navigators making their rounds. Some go up to old folks and say, please present your first monthly payment to ‘lock in’ these rates.
To the writer, I send a prayer for you. You may need spinal manipulation. At the very least, try to get someone to gently massage your limbs, to keep the circulation going, nerve endings activated.
Prayers for your speedy recovery.

Prayers for you for complete recovery.
You should rub windex all over.
This does not sound right, and you were not given the proper care in that hospital. I’ve been to the ER in several hospitals and have never been treated like that, and my situation was much less severe than yours. If you went to the ER on a Friday, it is now Saturday. I don’t know if your insurance requires 24 hours or just a separate day. If it’s the latter, then go now. If they need 24 hours and you don’t want to risk having to pay, then go ahead and call your doctor to get referred to another ER. It’s night, but either your doctor or another doctor will be on call. You can also contact your insurance company and explain the situation to them to see if you would be covered. If I were you, I think I’d go to the next ER because there is something wrong when you can’t move your legs and you are being sent home like there is nothing wrong. There is something wrong, and that’s why you can’t move your legs. I’ve had enough experiences with doctors to know that they don’t know everything, and they can give you the wrong diagnosis.
You are in my prayers.
Sending prayers, T, that this issue will be quickly resolved, along with prayers for peace.
If it is your will, please restore our brother Trussell.
Prayers up. Let us know you progress.
I had a cat scat where they couldn't even find a kidney stone, 10 minutes later they found it at another ER.
Husband's friend was having a stroke and the ER doc was going to put him in an ER room for “observation”. If the doctor my husband knew hadn't taken over and ordered an immediate cat scat, he would have died within minutes from a severe aneurysm.
Sending prayers, FWIW...
Go to the next nearest hospital, or dye your hair (and mustache if you have one) jet black...and pretend you are an illegal alien.
But we live under obombacare now~ Things are different, rules are different.....better, brighter don’t ya know.

Omnipotent and eternal God, the everlasting Salvation of those who believe, hear us on behalf of Thy sick servant, TRussell, for whom we beg the aid of Thy pitying mercy, that, with her bodily health restored, she may give thanks to Thee in Thy church. Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
I have a question not meant to be rude. Are you on Medicare? The ER treatment sounds horrific, almost like if they couldn’t find anything wrong immediately, they couldn’t ‘treat’ and get paid for it.
I’ll relate an experience not so bad as yours but it does say something about injuries, etc. I woke up one morning after a prior day’s discomfort in my left foot. Extreme pain almost like I’d really broken it good - in fact, that’s what I thought it was. The orthopedist who’d last treated that same foot for being broken would not even give me an appointment; his admin said go to the ER or your GP.
I did go see my GP because I didn’t want to pay $3000 for an Xray. He looked at it, asked me questions and then he said I’ll write you something for the pain. It wasn’t narcotic, it was an anti-inflammatory drug he called “Indosyn” Generic is inodomethacin.
I took one pill that night and whatever swelling had been there to cause the nerve pain was completely gone and I could freely walk on it.
I consider this episode nothing short of miraculous. The side effect is that you have to eat something with the pill or it will give you the worst case of heartburn you’ve likely ever had.
So my advice is to go to square one and see your GP. You never know, it might be something just as simple as my case ultimately turned out to be.
Prayers your way!
