Miley Cyrus was many, many things on Sunday night. Let’s take a look.

You are right. She is not sexy, she cannot sing, and if she isn’t a slut whore she sure does a good imitation of one.
And those ugly faces she made. Ugh!!.
Even he costume was ugly.
And whoever picked that wardrobe needs to be fired and blacklisted from any wardrobe-related jobs in the future. The outfit did horrible things to her backside and had to be terribly uncomfortable. Yuck!
My older kid is the same age as Miley and she was absolutely disgusted by the trashy performance.
She wasn’t even sexy.
It looked very rehearsed and affected.
Nothing sultry, just a cheap, slutty act.
My BIL just told me, “Pat Pong has gone mainstream, in Brooklyn.”
I can't figure out how she'd make it into the top 1000.
I doubt that even Laz would hit it.
My guess? MTV and Cyrus think they hit it out of the ball-park, with all the hubbub it generated, with her slutty-whore dance. Might even have some short-term benefits for them.
Yet, long-term, it’s another matter. I have a notion that the combined effect of the gross vileness and the embarrassingly pathetic and inartful stupidity of the performance will actually make this a watershed moment, in which American pop-culture itself will be seen as having jumped-the-shark.
If I’m wrong, the ante will undoubtedly be raised, and within five years we’ll be talking about the latest MTV awards show with performances including dancers involved in live gay-sex acts on stage.
Your second surmise is the correct one. We are almost there now.
The problem is the one-upsmanship inherent in the entertainment biz. Anything that has been done is old hat, so the next act has to do it one better, more outrageous.
I hate that aspect. It not just encourages trash, it is evil.
I suspect they will soon start an annual “Golden Slut” award.
Gene Simmons was even weirded out.

I read it on the Internet so you know this is true:
During rehearsals, apparently, Miley Cyrus had a much toned down performance. When she hit the real deal performance, that is when the real skankiestness came out.
There is a photo of her with giant pupils. Was she on something to give her a little "courage" to go through something she really did not feel comfortable doing or was she celebrating her performance.
Either way, its damaging and pitiful and gross and...
