To ignore or not know the Word of God, after coming to surrender ones life to God and repenting of our sins, is to be outside of God's will.
We have a part to play in the relationship. We each must come in truth and repent ... accepting the forgiveness of sins.
Stand strong!
Thank you for your wonderful poetry, Raven6. So glad you love Tennessee like I do. I was born and raised in Tennessee (Bristol). I moved away a few short times due to my hubby’s employment. We moved to Radford once and lived there 8 years. Loved that little town, also.....met lots of great friends there and am still in touch with a few. We also had a move to Roanoke for a few years but always landed on our feet back in Tennessee. Have been back in Tennessee a good many years now and always loved being HOME!
I agree the rolling hills, brooks and streams, could never be more beautiful than they are here. So glad to meet you my fellow Tennessean! Lots of good folks live in Tennessee, as you already know.
Have a wonderful day, my friend!
Thank you for your lovely words today, Geo!
I love that! Thank you so much for sharing your poetry. I’ve never had the good fortune to live in Tennessee, but I’ve traveled through your beautiful rolling hills. I remember lush green pastures dotted with horses and criss-crossed with white fences. Lovely country.
Please come by again and often with your poems. You are welcome here, Raven6!
I think you’d love Tennessee, Lori! Of course, we have all the beautiful SEASONS, too. But it can get mighty cold here in winter, except last winter turned out fairly mild. Great to see you, Lori! ((((HUGS))))
Dusting is another area of house cleaning in which I am a major procrastinator. There just never seems to be a good day to dust. It’s always a good day to sneeze from the dust though.

Our backyard is like a tunnel through the hardwood trees... Because of that, the dampness of the rain combined with the darkness of shadow gave us a surprise invader this past month... They attacked quietly, sneaking up in little platoons overnight. Their position in the darkness was given away by their almost alien glow. I captured some of the most brazen... They stood tall and maintained their silence, never giving away a secret. I was at first unsure what to do with them...
I left them where I found them... And they were eaten by the deer. :-)
Oh, my!! I have never seen anything like that! That is amazing. Looks like it should have some elves living under it, or a wood faerie. I am not a mushroom fancier. Absolutely hate them. We get little ones in our lawn and I pull them up immediately. I wonder how big they would get if I let them grow? Surely not that big. My cousin’s dog died last year from eating a wild mushroom on their ranch near Sacramento, and they scare me. It was a freak mushroom poisoning, but I don’t take any chances with my pups.
Tennessee is on my short list of preferred states to relocate to someday. My dream is to leave this leftist state (California) and finish out our golden years somewhere that still resembles the America I remember.
Hey, jaycee! How are you doing? I am about to hop on a train and head up to my daughter-in-law’s house in the East Bay (about three hours away) and spend a few days with her while my son is working in Angola. They just put in a beautiful in-ground pool, so it’s going to be like going to a resort for the weekend. :-)
Tennessee, West Virginia and Texas are up for consideration if we ever get to leave this horrible state and head east. We still have our business to run and selling it is nearly impossible in this business hostile state. But, I am leaving it up to God to decide where he wants us. Right now, it appears he wants us here.
Gotta run, don’t want to miss my train. Hugs!!
I’m at the stage of trying to give stuff away, I even tell my kids ‘don’t buy me gifts’! Lol. They still do but I have been eliminating some stuff too. Hope you are having a good day Meg.
Outside of some international travel courtesy of my uncle, I've lived here my entire live. We have no deserts, and no beaches other than those on our lakes and rivers... But we do have plenty of beautiful places to live.
The 2010 documentary film Babies followed four infants who were born into very different circumstances in Namibia, Mongolia, Tokyo, and San Francisco. There is no narration or dialogue from adults in the film, only the sounds babies make as they begin to discover the world into which they have been born. They coo and laugh when theyre happy; they cry when they are hurt or hungry. And all of them like milk! The fascination of the film lies in watching them grow.
As a baby craves milk, followers of Christ are to crave the pure milk of the Word that leads to spiritual growth. The apostle Peter says, Long to grow up into the fullness of your salvation; cry for this as a baby cries for his milk (1 Peter 2:2 tlb). Peter wrote to encourage a group of Christ-followers who had been scattered by persecution. He urged them to set aside feelings of anger and jealousy toward each other, along with talking one way and living another (v.1), and as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby (v.2).
The Lord invites us to drink all that we need from His bountiful supply. He loves to watch His children grow!

Hi, MEG!
Have a Terrific Friday!
(((((HUGS))))
:-)
Y'all enjoy the weekend!
One more item... It's almond harvest time here in The Big Valley. Around these parts, Almonds are pronounced "AMONDS". When the amonds are harvested, a tractor unit has a clamp that clamps onto the tree trunk and shakes the tree and the amonds fall to the ground and are swept up by another tractor device. The shaking of the tree is so intense it shakes the "L" right out of the AMONDS!
How darling! You know most all of us here love Yorkies, lol. Hope you have a great weekend Meg.
Thank you Luv. Happy weekend to you!
