I love that! Thank you so much for sharing your poetry. I’ve never had the good fortune to live in Tennessee, but I’ve traveled through your beautiful rolling hills. I remember lush green pastures dotted with horses and criss-crossed with white fences. Lovely country.

I think you’d love Tennessee, Lori! Of course, we have all the beautiful SEASONS, too. But it can get mighty cold here in winter, except last winter turned out fairly mild. Great to see you, Lori! ((((HUGS))))
Our backyard is like a tunnel through the hardwood trees... Because of that, the dampness of the rain combined with the darkness of shadow gave us a surprise invader this past month... They attacked quietly, sneaking up in little platoons overnight. Their position in the darkness was given away by their almost alien glow. I captured some of the most brazen... They stood tall and maintained their silence, never giving away a secret. I was at first unsure what to do with them...
I left them where I found them... And they were eaten by the deer. :-)
