ReelzChannel is getting back into the Kennedy family business, and once again likely to make some waves. In November, the network that aired the Emmy-winning 2011 miniseries "The Kennedys" will debut "JFK: The Smoking Gun," a new documentary offering the theory that John F. Kennedy was killed, not by Lee Harvey Oswalds rifle, but by the friendly-fire bullet of an inexperienced Secret Service agent.
"The only possible gun that could have been in that area is that Secret Service gun. So the finding is that it was an accidental discharge. Nobody's claiming anybody did anything wrong. But at the time, in the middle of the Cold War ... remember, it wasn't a time that the U.S. government would have liked to admit a botched security detail in the most important mission they had."
According to Hubbard's explanation of the docudrama, the timeline of the events of Nov. 22, 1963, will go something like this:
After Lee Harvey Oswald fired an initial shot at the Kennedy motorcade in Dealey Plaza in Dallas, a Secret Service agent named George Hickey responded. Hickey, an inexperienced agent who had never been on follow-up car duty, grabbed his AR-15 Secret Service rifle and, while standing in the back of the car that was behind the Kennedy vehicle in the motorcade, fired a shot, he hoped, towards the enemy fire. But the car he was riding in suddenly lurched forward, and, the theory suggests, Hickey's hand faltered, sending his bullet towards the presidents head. Oswald had fired a second shot that also hit Kennedy, but it was not necessarily the shot that fatally wounded JFK, according to the theory.

I don’t think any shot paralyzed him, since he moved his hands, arms, and torso after the first shot hit him. Also, I don’t think the autopsy showed any spinal cord damage, did it?
Do you have proof of that?
It’s actually the opposite: those who believe in conspiracy are the ones who’ve been brainwashed.
Oswald was a deranged Communist sociopath who murdered the President of the United States. Thought it up and did it all by himself with a perfectly capable military surplus rifle.
“The first shot hit Kennedys spine. His elbows were pulled back and up in a common reflex reaction to spinal damage. The bullet put a hole in the knot in Kennedys tie, and continued on to hit Connally. That shot killed Kennedy.”
I disagree. His arm movement is no reflex movement; he clearly reaches both hands up and grasps his throat, apparently where the exit wound from the bullet was.
Sad that you could be duped so easily...anyone with any commonsense can see multiple shots at multiple angels just from the Zapruder film...not to mention the blown out back of the head....daaaa!
Hey, this wouldn’t happen to be the 50th anniversary of the assassination would it? Boy, I think we’ll have new conspiracy theories for the next 4 months.
Considering he was hit AT LEAST twice, that would be one heck of an accident, eh?
Well, what kind of proof are you looking for? I mean, there is loads of documentation that his body was flown back to DC that same day and autopsied at Bethesda Naval Hospital, but, when it comes to anything with the JFK assassination, some people won’t accept any kind of proof that refutes their pet theory.
So, I could post the testimony of the doctors that autopsied him, the autopsy notes, the autopsy photos, etc. If that stuff won’t satisfy you, though, then I won’t bother.
The movement of Kennedy’s arms was into the ‘Thorburn Position’, a medical term for the movement of the arms along with a high extension of the elbows as a neurological reaction to trauma to the spinal cord.
It’s a fairly common symptom in combat injuries that involve temporary or permanent paralyzation of the high spinal cord region. It’s the most visible indicator to combat medics and Hospital Corpsmen that the subject is paralyzed.
I’ll deal with you this November like I do with uninformed skeptics every year when the anniversary of JFKs assassination rolls around.

Cool, I didn’t realize that common sense qualified someone to be a forensic expert. I’m heading down to the police department tomorrow to put in my application, those guys make pretty good money!
Except, there was no spinal injury found in the autopsy, so there would be nothing to trigger that reflex. Yet, we do know he had a wound in the front of his neck exactly where he seems to be grasping. Grasping at such a wound, which probably interfered with his breathing, is also a perfectly natural reaction, and fits the facts better than a reaction to a non-existent spinal injury.

I haven’t heard anyone describe the Carcano as a good rifle.
You're more correct than you could possibly know! And that lone agent ... was the surgically-altered last survivor of Roswell!
Hows the pay these days?
Please don’t bother.Thank you.
Wondered why my firearms just kept going off at 3 am. /idiot Been shooting for over 30 years. Never had one "accidentally go off." Guess I am just special. BTW, to reiterate, the author is an idiot.
No shit.Thats the first time I ever read that.LOL
